My entry for @gachaponzine 's [Collectible Creature Catalog] project! They gave me the chance once more to try my mixed-media & sculpture art style for it, alongside creating a logotype and flavor text, things I always enjoyed from these types of trinkets.
Talking about trinkets! I suggest grabbing the full zine (with lotsa of designs made by 30-ish different artists) not only to support more projects like this one, but because all funds will go to Trans Lifeline!
[Get it on Itch.io] (If you go the extra mile with the payment, you can have the Bonus Booklet with Behind the Scenes).
[Get it on their Ko-Fi].
... Now, knowing all you curious eyes that enjoy my art technique, I will roll extra graphics and photos of the raw sculptures under the cut!
The logotype in its full glory! I used a free font I have on my designer cabinet (and applied before for other projects), still, the SUMMONSTERS word is actually handcrafted from at least three different sources I studied to achieve that "Medieval Grimoire" vibe!
MEET THE CRITTERS! Actually, this is just an IG-friendly version of the whole poster x'D But Fun Fact: these critters are actually inspired by Paracelsus's poetical theories about spirits that form/inhabit each of the classical four elements:
Salamander (Fire), Gnome (Earth), Undyne (Water), and Sylph (Air). I incorporated their concepts to make the designs rounder with other esoteric symbols like those of Tarot Suits (Candles and Incense/Fire, Crystals/Earth, Cups and Pearls/Water, Swords/Air).
Then I sculpted, as always, with cheap clay and took multiple photos of each one until I found the right shot to work over it in digital.
I'm not gonna show it here (you will need to download the Bonus Zine!), but this wasn't my first and final idea for the project: I redesigned and refined the theme at least THRICE (I even discarded a fifth element from these four ones) and I admit I was struggling a tad...
But hanging around this group of creatives, with my same enthusiasm for both art and silly creature design, aided me A TON in keeping my motivation high during all of it. Thank you so much for the sweet and fun times!!! 💖💖💖💖

Hey guys, if you missed out on the folklore & Cryptid tarot project back in 2023, I now have some leftovers available in my Etsy shop!
I was one of the illustrators, I drew the card for Page of Pentacles, featuring Cat Sith. There are a TON of gorgeous illustrations in here, and the guidebook includes a brief description of the legend or folklore featured. Check it out!
EDIT: Tumblr keeps deleting my pic, fourth time is the charm? lol
EDIT 2: Just in case it comes up, this is available at the recommended/requested price given to us by the project mods.
WILD HUNT // COLLAB
LISA pixelart collab between me and Astro of Stag's Bazaar. The theme of the contest was "Duel", so what better than the brutal conflict between hunter and quarry?
He created the Hunter sprite, the base concept, and the sketch, and I made the Beast, finalized the background, and made the tileset (all three things ;P).
