     IF there was anyone near him, one would have heard the gulp that came from him after he checked the time on his watch. No matter how many times he has spent time with Evelyn, Tenji often felt butterflies in his stomach whenever he was around her. Was it because he was nervous of making a fool out of himself by doing something awkward? Or was he cautious of revealing his unnatural abilities to her? Or perhaps, because of how adorable his girlfriend was all the time? Whatever it was, the extraterrestrial somehow managed to keep himself composed, even though he could feel his cheeks flush when they were together.

     TAKING a deep breath in, he huffed and took a sip of his bubble tea, before he looked at his girlfriend. “Ahh, what do you feel like doing now, Evie-chan?” Tenji asked with his head tilted slightly. “Because I... have no idea what to do and we have the day to ourselves, I think?” He blinked and scratched the side of his head while his lips were pressed. What am I doing? 

   “Wait, y-you’re not that busy today, are you?”

      time  winds  down  into  a  halt,  until  there  is  nothing  around  them  which  moves  or  breathes  but  their  own  selves.  it  is  a  staggering  feeling  inside  his  chest,  in  his  heart,  no  longer  of  forlornness  but  completion…  in  a  sense.  although,  that  feeling  as  well,  is  coated  in  a  lingering  sensation  of  dolefulness.  he  knows  not  why  he  pities  this  moment,  or  why  it  aches  in  his  heart  to  reunite.  it  has  taken  hiroma  some  time  to  muster  enough  courage  to  show  his  face  once  more  in  her  presence.  it  seems  as  if  only  yesterday  he  had  held  her  hand  in  the  crossway  from  their  school.  only  yesterday  that  he  told  her  he  would  rather  spend  time  with  his  friends  than  babysit  her.  only  yesterday  that  he  had  solved  her  homework  for  her.  only  yesterday…  

      she  had  become  a  woman  now,  in  these  years  that  passed.  taller,  older  –  with  a  glance  at  her  eyes  he  could  still  discern  this  familiar  mischievousness  so  distinguishing  and  beguiling  of  her.  it  saddens  him,  that  she  is  no  longer  a  child…  as  if  he  had  missed  all  these  good  years.  and  what  would  he  give  to  hold  her  little  hand  at  the  crossroad  just  once  more,  carry  her  bag  when  it  became  too  heavy  for  her…  to  hear  her  gleeful  snicker  when  she  wins  their  game  once  again  and  he  must  buy  her  a  treat…  those  memories  ghost  him  still.  haunt  him  when  the  silence  prevails  and  the  thoughts  become  louder  and  mightier.

      ❛    i’m  sorry  i  didn’t  come  sooner.    ❜      mortified  and  rueful  with  what  he  had  done,  this  secret  that  he  had  buried  deep  within  him…  he  couldn’t  show  his  face.  even  when  he  had  finally  met  their  father  after  all  these  years  –  he  could  not  face  fumiko.  consternation  still  lingers  in  his  mind,  what  would  she  think  of  him  if  the  truth  was  unveiled ?

❛  sunhee .❜  name that drips with familiarity upon it -- a frame , he know well from the few advertisement contracts he had been pushed into by his management team .  the rookie of the taeguk warriors had to be known or at least that was what he was told . a boy that had grown up in a normal environment , coming from an upper middle class household  .  it had been a whole new world he had been tossed into when he had accepted the spot three years ago . it was just until last year where he began doing sponsorships ,  it’s when he was fully tossed into the glam life .  that’s how he met her --  sunhee , although three years younger than him  had shown timothy the ropes .   a friendship that blossomed between the two , it helped him in ways .  whenever he was lost or overwhelmed with the reality of being a sport’s star and he couldn’t call his parents nor lay the burden on his siblings .  sunhee had been one of the few close friends he found himself relying on .  which was why , after a few weeks overseas for games ;  he had called her to meet up .  a few presents were brought , a promise of a souvenir being accomplished on his part .   ❛   sorry , it was rough getting out of the airport . i hope i didn't make you wait too long . ❜

      how  long  has  it  been  ever  since  she  last  saw  his  winsome  face  ?  the  feeling  of  his  warmth  surrounding  her  is  gone,  and  more  than  so  her  heart  feels  empty.  contemplations  and  an  assortment  of  notions  run  through  her  psyche,  she  ponders  over  the  reason  mingyu  is  evidently  ignoring  her  --  ghosting  her  for  a  whole  week.  she  thinks  he’s  busy,  practicing  and  attending  schedules...  the  life  of  a  star  is  hectic  and  grueling,  she  lets  him  be  however,  days  pass  and  he  doesn’t  even  text  her  back,  doesn’t  like  her  instagram  posts...  it’s  peculiar  --  mannerism  which  isn’t  alike  anything  she  knows  of  his  character.  even  when  exceedingly  preoccupied  he  always  finds  time  for  her.  she’s  distraught  yet  with  endeavors  to  drown  those  pestering  thoughts  she  finds  herself  driving  to  his  dorms.  now,  usually  she  would  not  step  a  foot  near  it  for  so  many  reasons  however,  given  that  she  knows  the  guys  usually  go  drinking  that  night  and  staying  out  until  the  morning,  she  is  willing  to  take  her  chances  of  having  mingyu  alone  --  that  way  she  can  confront  him,  or  tend  to  him  if  her  suspicions  that  something  is  wrong  with  him  are  correct.  she  knocks  on  the  door  of  their  apartment,  heart  pounding  in  against  the  thorax.  when  it’s  finally  opened,  her  face  ( although  evidently  somewhat  filled  with  trepidation )  is  beaming,  her  smile  wide  and  perhaps  slightly  bashful.   ❛    heeeeey...  guess  who  ?!    ❜       ╱      @collapsecolours

 ❛  is that so ?  i didn’t  mean to surprise you ,hanako . ❜   his voice was soft towards her  ; how it had    always   been since he had made fate bend her will and plastered  before the other . months going over her  ,  making their paths cross until it had turned into something   normal .  a sort of routine now for seunghoon  to always be around her .  much like now ,  he had softly teased her  about the crimson that kissed the apples of her cheeks and it seemed like he had probably pushed a button .   it took him by surprise when she had stood up and excused herself  --- granted ,  he could see the lies .  he could     smell    them as she hid the truth and how the   (  subtle )    pulse felt underneath his fingers that wrapped around her wrist  .   still ,  he allows himself to believe it,  for it’s his own chest at the moment that feels an odd stir while he locked his gaze with her .  

 ❛  sorry , hanako  . ❜   realization    hits upon him that they are in an open place and eyes linger on the pair  .  he could see how curious eyes wondered about the two as his hand suddenly feels hot against her flesh and carefully      retracted    back his grasp.      ❛   but you shouldn’t go out by yourself .  it’s already past 8 and the night isn’t safe a young lady to be out on her own  . ❜  play the knight  , or any role that would get her closer to him .  earn her trust enough to spill the reality of her situation  .  it is what he lays out for her  as he takes out his wallet to toss a couple of bills onto the table  .   he was sure that it was more than enough to cover the bill and then someone before grabbing his jacket from his chair .      ❛   i won’t take no for an answer .  i won’t be comfortable if something happened to you .  ❜

it was a long trip, in all honesty. even if it was within the borders of south korea, a trip to jejudo was always fun but quite tiring when it comes to plane rides. yu na had gone over there to do some collaboration with other youtubers and film stuff for her channel. she was gone for at least two weeks and she had terribly missed her boyfriend and so once she had landed back in seoul, she dropped her stuff off at her apartment before heading immediately to his apartment, ringing the doorbell.

it would be a lie if minjae said he didn’t miss his girlfriend. it felt like the days in which she was gone passed so slowly, and every time, he almost wondered if she was really going to come back. well, then again, her texts reassured him anytime he had those doubts, but still! until she was back in his arms again, he would worry a little bit about it. funny how a divorce lawyer would feel those things towards someone. he was in the middle of cooking something when he heard the doorbell ring. was she here already? he turned off the stove and rushed to the front door. upon seeing her, he pulled her in for a hug, pressing kisses to the top of her head. “hi, i missed you.”

A misunderstanding, that was all. A misinterpretation coming from the elder who appeared to be losing sleep for a toxic accumulation of stress. An awful trade if you were to ask her.

Seoah couldn't lie. Her expression revealed enough earlier. How her features became creases for a moment, almond eyes widening for a second with a hand caught hanging midway, tensed. It returned resting on her lap, the discomfort leaving a foul aftertaste at the back of her throat. It wasn't in her nature to lash out on others either. She wasn’t the type to let an unjustified misplacement of anger slide however. He needed a call back to reality.

She may not share a tight-knit bond with him than his siblings yet. They were still friends nonetheless. The singer showed a quick understanding nod, a soft smile adorning her relaxed features, once he returned to his senses. Back to the Tenma she knew. ❝ It happens. You must be dealing with many projects at once, including meetings and whatnot. ❞ There was at least one thing she admired from the older male ( aside from his gentlemanly manners ): his strong sense of responsibility. How he kept up with everything in a precise and organized manner fascinated her since she would have fallen in his place. 

❝ Have you considered taking naps? I’m aware that’s unlikely to happen with your kind of schedules, but if there’s a way for you to rest, even for five minutes, that will be good for you. ❞ The abusive intake of caffeine concerned her greatly.

𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 @collapsecolours.    ┊    jina & kanae.

          an idol making their solo debut was often a big step, so jina was, naturally,  very  proud that their maknae had done just that ; and although the end of year ceremonies meant that this was one of the busiest times for the group, she still wanted to spend some time with the younger girl to celebrate. she had asked their manager for permission to go on an outing during their next free day, and, after some back and forth, they’d agreed on the specifics  —  all jina had told kanae, however, was that they were going to be outside in the cold once they arrived.

the two girls had bundled themselves into a van early that morning, and had arrived in taebaeksan just before lunchtime. intent on keeping their destination a surprise as long as possible, jina had made sure the younger girl’s eyes were shut tightly until they’d passed the banner over the entrance, holding her hand to guide her for a moment longer before letting go.  “ okay  —  open your eyes! ”  jina clapped her hands together, watching for kanae’s reaction to the ice sculptures surrounding them.  “ isn’t it  fantastic? ”
