Horse figure of the day: CollectA #80060 Nokota Stallion

Set of mini prehistoric marine animal figures by CollectA, bought from a local toy shop in July 2024. I enjoy the several different shapes of ammonite here!

Today's model is technically a Breyer- Breyer by CollectA. This is a line of toys much like brands such as Safari Ltd. and Schleich. She is model #88029, the Percheron Mare in dapple grey. She came out in 2025 and was sculpted by Deborah McDermott.

The CollectA line is pretty great, with accurate sculpting and high detail. They're made of some kind of stiff vinyl that's pretty solid, and some of them have an almost velvety feel. The fur texture is excellent. I especially love the drafts in this line, and this one in particular. She really seems to have weight and presence, and her painting (especially the dapples) is quite good.
