Hello! I’m Leo, sometimes known as Rainbow. I’m a nonbinary (they/them) Scottish plush artist and big appreciator of toys, which I’d love to show to everyone!

I am an adult, but this blog will be entirely SFW. Anyone can enjoy the toys I post, but please, if your blog is heavily NSFW, I ask that you just look and don’t reblog/comment!

I mainly own plushies, but also some figures and wooden animals. You’ll see a lot of thylacines, other marsupials, dragons, and dinosaurs here, as well as Pokemon such as my all-time fave Rattata!

My main interests are zoology, palaeontology, and nature in general. While I may have a… slight mammal bias in my collection, I can appreciate every type of animal! (I’ll tag snails, slugs, insects, and any invertebrates that seem bug-like with ‘bugs’ if you want to avoid)

Aside from toys, I also collect cool rocks, and animal bones and dead things - but don’t worry, it’s all about toys here (any bone appearances will also be appropriately tagged!)

Bath Bomb gets bathed!

The last time I had to spot clean Bath Bomb I must've not quite dried them thoroughly enough, because I recently found several mould spots on their tail and paw... Whoops... So I gave them a much more thorough clean and dry whilst completely unstuffed this time!

I wasn't sure how well I'd be able to remove the mould spots, but to my surprise the mould-removing spray that we have (for use in bathrooms and such) did the job perfectly! Literally you can't even see that any mould was ever there. I took a risk using it on fabric, but decided I was willing to deal with possible discolouration, bleaching, or slight damage to the fabric as long as the mould was gone. Luckily it didn't do any of that!

If you want to try something like this, make sure you are also okay with the risk and test it on an inconspicuous spot first! You never know what these kinds of harsh cleaners will do to fabric, especially when it's not the recommended use. Be sensible about wearing rubber gloves too!

After that I made sure to give them a very thorough rinse, and then a regular wash in the washing machine, which I think Bath Bomb really enjoyed. I think this is good enrichment for a Vaporeon. It makes me think of the Vaporeon ability to melt into a puddle.

Then a good air dry on the washing line! Very thoroughly this time!

Finally I restuffed Bath Bomb with the same beans as before but fresh fibre stuffing. I actually added a few more beans to bring Bath Bomb's total weight to just over 1kg! I think a wet beast like Vaporeon should feel heavy!

Australian pal Lake sent me this Bunnings apron (nicked from an innocent bear named Brian, apparently) figuring I'd have some toy that would fit it! Appropriately enough, my bashful koala was the first thing I tried and it was perfect haha.

Guess this is Brian now. Congrats on the new job, Brian! That's one heck of a commute, though, we don't have this store in Scotland. Also the Christmas jumper might be a bit toasty on the job.

A little beanie blue tongued skink by TST Advance, bought from Mercari Japan in 2025. I modified its face and tongue because it looked... kinda creepy before haha. Now it's cute!

Originally had a felt tongue, doesn't look so bad from this angle at least...

...But it's got a really weird kissy mouth hole lmao. Why'd they overcomplicate it! I just made a whole new tongue, sewed the mouth closed around it, and embroidered a smiley new mouth. I also reduced its big forehead a bit while I was at it.

Small Fuddlewuddle Lion visited a safari park in October 2025! There were indeed lions! And meerkats! Unfortunately, there were also pterosaurs who wanted to eat him (he's okay).

After a wonderful visit to the aquarium, Nova was even more excited about the dinosaur themed burger restaurant we visited for lunch!

She didn't eat her own burger until we got home, though.

Nova the velociraptor and my nameless Jellycat seal came to the aquarium at Loch Lomond in October 2025!

I love bringing Nova to places like this, she always has such a perfect expression of excitement and wonder (or sometimes a cheeky BITE! No eating the sharks, Nova!)

My seal got soaked by the rain travelling on the outside of my backpack lol oops, but he had a nice time as well, 'swimming' and hanging out with a ray friend!

I bought this secondhand Wild Republic velociraptor puppet to send to @toyboxdotcom, and the seller posted it to me using a box of Asda wheat bisks for protection (how much protection does a soft puppet really need? Well, better too much than too little I guess.)

So I fed the velociraptor its breakfast.

Wild Jolteon appeared!

We had some awesome thunder and lightning here the other night and I went out (in my jammies, at midnight) to see how well my phone could capture it. Difficult to get anything with both lightning and foreground plushie looking good, but I had fun! Orion's paws got dirty on the wet road but he also had fun.
