I put Doki Doki Literature club as part of my drawing unit in college, cause why not haha. Its part of sone anime/manga research in my book, also is part of the pastel aesthetic stuff i have in my book aswell.

I'm in a class that is lowkey draining my soul through my keyboard so I'm progressively trying to make my response blurbs more and more unhinged, here's this week's.

"Microsoft Excel is boring. Spreadsheets are boring. While it is a powerful tool, there is a reason I never became an accountant or a numbers person. I’ve done plenty of data entry, and it can be interesting in a rote way; you challenge yourself to see just how much you can enter. Coding is fascinating! I love to encode data and see qualitative data transform into quantitative and then see what comes of it, but those projects are better analyzed in SAS or SPSS. Even R is preferable to me than Excel. There is a reason every show or movie set in an office shows accountants and accounting as deeply inane — because it is, and the software it uses is. I am glad, I suppose, to know more of the capabilities of Excel. I know I am scheduled to learn even more about it, but I cannot imagine a world in which Microsoft Excel will ever be on my list of frequently used applications. If I had to choose between only being able to use 3.5” floppy discs or Microsoft Excel, I would choose those tiny plastic goldfish memory discs in a heartbeat."

What I Did Today: 

 began precal section 6 and 7

met with my ESOL partner for a cultural conversation

 DNA replication connect assignment

reviewed notes for sociology test

Sociology review quiz- 100% score

submitted stage 2 of my research paper for my sociology class

Today I attended my Pony Club’s annual Halloween party (I’ll post photos tomorrow). I didn’t get to paint my horse to look like a dragon like I wanted to due to lack of time, but we still had fun and did pretty well in the games. The rest of the day was pretty relaxed, I got my barn chores done very efficiently, and got to do some reading. I’ve still been having trouble focusing, and have become pretty dependent on caffeine in order to focus properly. I’ve been doing some research and found that this, along with many of the other habitual problems I have, is a symptom of ADHD. Time to completely ignore my suspicions and keep working at half capacity I guess. 

On a happier note, I received my scholarship checks on Friday. It all went straight into my savings and I adamantly refuse to spend any of it until I absolutely have to, but it makes me feel accomplished to get my college expenses covered and still end up with some scholarship money on the side.
