EN is really inconsistent with their song title translations. Like why is "Hoshizora Melody" translated to "Starry Sky Melody" but "Hoshizora Orchestra" isn't translated to "Starry Sky Orchestra"? They're both third rotation WxS songs, so it has nothing to do with commissioned vs. cover songs or unit naming conventions (looking at you, VBS, and your copious English titles), and yet. And yet.
Some of these translations are pretty stupid as well, because people already know them by their Romaji names. Like "Machi", "Teratera", and "Saisei" being translated despite their names already being cemented in the global fandom base since they were released in the JP version. Or covers like "Batsubyou", "Ikanaide", or "Kaisei", whose names are literal Vocaloid legends already, and translating just makes things confusing.
There's also the translations that get ridiculously extended, like "Gekokujou" becoming "The Retainer Supplanting His Lord" and "Chigau!!!" becoming "We Are Different !!! (or Same)" They just don't roll off the tongue. And the opposite, with names that just get parts chopped off. "Hakoniwa no Coral" becoming "Coral". "I am, We are" becoming just "We are"
