Can't lie, I think I nailed the colouring of this scene. It was insanely yellow....but it looks SO PRETTY now!

It's like an interrogation....
Ah....the power of colour grading. I had an idea for this a while back but like I REAALLLLY like contextualizing characters in fantasy/historical fiction through the lens of modern fashion and I was like whatever I'll take it a step further: noir detective and wife in the most Gen Z way possible.
I think it's also helpful to the narrative I have of them which I rarely write about outside of some circles, but the whole "lets get married young!! oh my god my wife died" lore happened when they were 19-24. The instability of two neurodiverse young adults trying to make it on their own can be put into perspective overlayed what they'd look like in 2026 rather than 1899 cuz I don't think they're any different really, and it kinda hurts more in a way.
Also fuck it, Mortimer t-boy mullet, you know he would.

Sihtric & Osferth - The Last Kingdom S4 Proud of the colour grading on this one, it was ugly AF in the original scene.

Can we all appreciate A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms for actually colour grading. NO NETFLIX LIGHTING ANYWHERE THANK ALL THE POWERS.
