I'll post pictures in a bit, but I snagged two pretty cool albums on vinyl today. I got Fuck Buttons - Colours Move 12" single and Major Lazer - Free the Universe.

carrying on from the 'shit that inspires me' here is the shit that got me into Noise in the first place.
Fuck Buttons. Their first album and particularly the opening track Sweet Love for Planet Earth was just an amazing revelation musically, twinkly melodies juxtaposed against granular distortion and Ben simultaneously screaming into a toy microphone whilst wearing a Mayhem trucker cap was all mindblowing. This is what opened up my eyes to the world of Noise as well as the concept of circuit bending and other such notions of messing with shit.
Oddly in comparison to Psywarfare, this sounds exactly what would happen if a child was given buttons to just press at random and a microphone to sing/yell at. This is due to my Niece getting a toy keyboard and microphone set and literally just hitting all the buttons whilst yelling at the microphone, what a Christmas.
Side notes now all aside, let us embrace the sweet distortion.
Fuck Buttons - Colours Move (2008)
