Plakatentwicklung für die VA der alten Mayday-Jungs "30 Jahre RAVING SOCIETY". Interessant ist vielleicht, die Vorgabe zu erwähnen, das Look&Feel der Maydays in den 90ern zu transportieren, OHNE das Logo (weder Bild- noch Wortmarke, auch nicht in modifizierter Form) zu verwenden. So musste ich die gesamte Schrift des Titels nachbauen und - ebenfalls Vorgabe - das alte Visual verwenden (in der Mitte). Man achte auch auf die coole Idee von mir (da dachte ich noch, ich dürfte das alte Bild weglassen), die Sojus-Apollo-Kopplung visuell mit hineinzunehmen, was aber leider auf taube Ohren stieß, ebenso wie die Flaggen der DDR und der BRD auf den Raumschiffen - was wirklich schade war; denn WENN irgendwas die wahre Grundlage des Techno in Deutschland gewesen ist, dann die Fusion der Kreativkräfte von Ost und West.

Gig report Sam Fender boyyy in Berlin

@alx--turner wanted a gig report of Sam Fender's concert in Berlin yesterday. Maybe someone else cares to know too? 🤗

• The Pale White were supporting. 3 guys making lots of noice. But I liked their style. All in all a bit heavier than Sam

• Columbiahalle was quite full. It's not a big a venue. i think it's less than 4000 people capacity. But the atmosphere was really nice. I thought the age range would go from teenagers to 30s. But there were actually also older folks there. Which was a great thing imo. Also a quite balanced male/femal ratio.

• The setlist was like on the other European gigs. Springsteen cover at the end and all. He could have added more songs here and there. The concert went about... 80 minutes maybe? Ended TOO FAST as always.

• I think he was a bit nervous at the beginning? Spilled water over his face and guitar, licked the guitar afterwards 🤭🤣😏

• He was SUPER HAPPY during the songs. Said Germany is the 2nd biggest market for him after the UK. 😍

• The audience knew all the songs. Did a good job in making HIM happy too.

• All the boys actually.

• He commented on death threats he received on Twitter because of White Privilege and how nonsense they were. And that he didn't want to die but if there was an alt right guy wanting to shoot him it would only end in sales going up and his mum could buy a fucking huge house 😅

• I think a string of his guitar broke during The Borders or something ? I myself did not notice but he was rambling about something. Also it's his fav song of the album.

• I don't really remember when but the band left the stage for a few songs at the end and he DID A GREAT JOB singing and playing on his own. Voice always on point. I really enjoyed these 'acoustic' kind of versions. It felt quite intimate.

Especially woth Poundshop Kardashians and Leave Fast. The audience sang the "how am i supposed to change it .... " part so good. i get goosebumps still. And then for the last part of the song the band joined him again and played all together. I love moments like these. The huge impact the transition from one guitar to fullblown band was awesome. I got a vid of it. Lets see later if Tumblr will let me upload it.

• I also liked the mix of the playlist. He didn't only play the most famous songs at the end. It was really well done. Also sang the new song Hold Out which is great live.

• I really loved how proud he seemed and humble at the same time. He really is like you would think he is.

• Much Love for him ♥️ He is a real fucking talent bringing guitar rock back.

• 10/10 would SO recommend. Big love.

(Hope this wasn't too crappy. Also it was my first Sam gig. Don't know if he does all these things all the time and it was nothing new to y'all.... sry if so)

PS: Oh and the merch 🤣 its hilarious. Hot sauce and Trump monster t-shirts. I could not decide and left without anything. I am that stupid.
