Logan goes to visit one of family members who has been in the hospital for awhile now. He’s noticed that the room next door never has any visitors and the person in there had been there for awhile, Logan doesn’t know how long, but they were there before his family member came to the hospital.
One day Logan asks someone at the desk about the person. They say they shouldn’t tell Logan but they trust he won’t say anything. He’s informed that the guy is named Virgil and he’s been comatose for several months now. He has no known family members or connections and he hasn’t been visited at all since he came to them.
Logan gets permission and decides to visit Virgil one day after he visited his family member. Logan walks in and sits down in a chair nearby Virgil. He starts introducing himself and telling a bit about himself. He only stays for about five minutes before he gets up and leaves.
Logan continues this routine of visiting his family member daily for a few hours and visiting the comatose Virgil for a little while and talking to him about his day and hobbies and anything he could think of. He knows that Virgil probably didn’t hear him and wasn’t listening but it felt nice to just talk.
After a few months of this Logan’s family member is either released from the hospital or dies. Logan though decides that he should still visit Virgil and continues going to the hospital daily and staying with Virgil for a few hours just talking.
One day Logan comes to visit Virgil and he gets there.... but the room is empty, Virgil is gone. Logan goes and asks the front desk person.
Virgil was walking down the hall with the assistance of a doctor when he heard the voice he looked around for the owner of the voice then walked over with the doctor.
Logan looks up to see Virgil awake and is surprised.
During Virgil’s coma he had been semi conscious to the point of being able to hear others. He didn’t remember everything but he remembered Logan’s voice after the months of silence. Virgil is surprised to actually be able to put a face to the voice and name.
(Glad you liked it!) Eventually he stops coming to the discussions. He has to work, he has to function but they don't listen and his job can be done subconsciously. Maybe he can just rest for a while? So he does. When they go searching for him they see he's asleep on his bed, his room is compensating, on overdrive, working and connected to him, he's dull and pale and colourless and just lays there because his physical form isn't needed so it can simply sleep and let the room handle it right...?

His body has become more of a shell to hold his subconscious anyways, but now that it’s too hard to do even that his natural mind has gone back to being held by the room and in turn Thomas’ mind. His body to the others... looks dead and lifeless, to the point that when they find him... Patton can do nothing but scream as the others try to hold him back.
But even they can’t hold back a concerned friend from getting to Logan, from gingerly sweeping his messy hair out of his face, and from begging for him to wake up.
Logan still breathes, but he might as well be dead.
But that most certainly doesn’t stop the others from coming to Logan’s room every day, trying to rouse him as they help take care of him.

Oh no reason you say?
Well, like I said he’s got the goggles that he constantly wears and his usual polo shirt and pants. But he also has his rubber gloves that are his standard practice color. His hair is chaotically messy since he’s always on the move and doesn’t usually have time to brush it. There’s also the surgical mask that I talked about that’s got sharp teeth printed on it.

He did indeed! When he was putting his entire ‘look’ together he was kinda stumbling because everything had come so easy as Logan. He had been a teacher when he was Logan, and he wasn’t Logan any longer so he was left absolutely scrambling on who he was now and what that meant for his look.
This is something that Remus could easily understand, because after splitting from Roman he didn’t know who he was either, and something as simple as putting an outfit together became hell for him. So Remus tried to help, the key word being tried. The truth is, outside of the mask he had given Logic, he didn’t know what else to do that would help.
Deceit did though, because after the split and after everything Dee was the one to help Remus stand on his own legs again.
