So the brawling would almost certainly be left in Snowdrift’s hands, while Miles went about laying down as many traps as possible / making it as difficult as possible for any opponent to fight back effectively.

Effectively, Snowdrift would handle a lot of the nastier stuff (the hand to hand for sure) while Miles kept his back clear and made sure no one outflanked him.

Who the hell had told them to do that?! By placing small stones in the palm of his hands and then tying them there with thin ropes, his captors had effectively interdicted his chi. Which preventing him from using it, or tapping into it…he needed to have his palms and his hands free.

And he couldn’t ignite his fists if they were bound like that, either…and set the ropes ablaze.

One thing was for certain…whatever was going on here was something that Snowdrift wasn’t supposed to be part of. His captors had to make certain that he was kept from interfering.

He admired their ingenuity in a certain sense…and cursed it in another.

Oh lord.

With both characters at close to full strength I would give the edge to Hakumen given that fiery fists can only deflect off a barrier for so long. And then there’s the small matter of that God Slash. Snowdrift’s Bladed Staff can absorb a boatload of punishment, but I’m not sure how well it would hold up there.

//and just so long as that nodachi doesn’t behave like King Crimson, Snowdrift has a somewhat respectable chance
