In Korea, a mysterious phenomenon is causing people to transform into monstrous creatures, spreading fear and uncertainty throughout the country. The people turn to ancient folklore and legends for answers, as rumors of curses and malevolent spirits fill the air. The government struggles to manage the crisis as society teeters on the brink of collapse, but a few individuals emerge as beacons of hope, determined to uncover the truth and reverse the transformation.
As the boundaries between reality and nightmare blur, the transformed creatures roam the streets, creating a constant reminder of the looming threat. The country is filled with tales of horror and heroism, as the populace grapples with emotions of despair and defiance in the face of this encroaching darkness.

Mages vs Mages
A snap of a finger by a mysterious mage causes all the Agents to be teleported away but the spell-casters during a mission. Suwan, Sejad, Reks, Dylan and Louma are left standing in the ruins of the floating city of Nym. The mysterious mage laughs and summons his mage brethren. A magic fight breaks out. Suwan erects a force field around Louma as a crimson mage attempts to cut him down with a rapier. Louma counter attacks the crimson mage with ice spikes. A short scholarly mage with a codex in his hand stands next to the mysterious mage protecting him. Eldritch tendrils from Sejad’s staff strangles the scholarly mage. Suwan throws bolts of unaspected Aether at the scholar and throws him magically across the ground. A blue mage tries to use a bad breath spell, Reks deflects the incoming curse with his holy water. Dylan pumps his fists forward and impales the blue mage with earth, while Suwan curses the enemy with biolysis. Sejad runs up and punches the mysterious mage before he could cast another starlight spell.
The villainous mages are subdued by the Advent casters. However they all become silenced except for Louma as a woman appears. Further chaos ensues as the woman summons her star-globe, a Prism Stone attached to it, she starts to cast a limit break. The Prism Stone’s power radiates and empowers all the mages indiscriminately. A newly empowered Suwan levitates and encases his allies in glowing force fields, his eyes blazing white. Sejad uses his Magic to strengthen Suwan’s barriers. Reks casts a protective water dome. Louma creates ice shields. All the mages layer their magic barriers preparing to nullify the full force of the limit break. Before the limit break is cast, the woman releases the Prism’s full power which further bathes the Advent mages in its light. Suwan falls to the ground unable to stop hearing loud voices from the collective unconscious. Sejad’s Aether erupts like magma within him. Louma relishes in the Prism’s light, once again in contact with its addictive power. Reks’ magic eye glows with power. Dylan becomes base and instinctively summons a hurricane which interrupts the woman’s limit break. As she is vulnerable the other mages combine their empowered spells to cast her out. However, the woman cancels all their collected magic curses and attacks by using Reks’ protection spell as the nullifying catalyst. Then the woman suddenly vanishes along with the prism stone. This leaves the mages burnt out from the prism stone’s light. Zaius, Natja and Nhara collect the mages and they are treated in the Advent Medical Ward. Nikolai is then given a mission report.

The Proving Grounds XXV!
Ladies and gentlemen, citizens of Eorzea and parts both exotic and mundane, join us for a very special edition of the Proving Grounds as we celebrate our XXVth installment! Come join us as our gladiators strip down to their gloriously gilded undergarments and fight to the near-death in a sandy, bloody pit of mostly regret! We guarantee it'll be a fun way to spend your time! For this edition of the games, things are getting changed up in celebration of our milestone event: A very special guest Gamemaster shall be presiding over the event, a gleaming Golden Dagger will be presented to the winner rather than a Rosewood Dagger- and only one of these is required to be called a Proving Grounds Champion. Lastly, some of the games' usually iron-clad rules of engagement have been relaxed. Absolutely anything goes for these XXVth games, folks! We set the stage for these special games with what promises to be a barnburner between Erdenechimeg Kha and Eigengrau Hatasashi. Erdenechimeg won a Rosewood Dagger on his very first games, defeating a pair of former winners along the way, while the talented dancer looks to return to the path of victory at the Kha's expense. Our second match involves a veteran of the games, the enigmatic Kojhin Oronir- who's never met a fight he didn't want to pick- and a special guest gladiator, the personal champion of our Very Special Guest Gamesmaster, a mysterious warrior hailing from far off lands whose name is as shrouded in mystery as the rest of them! The third bout is between former winner Kindoron Tumet and the Proving Grounds very own proverbial bridesmaid C'novhi Tia. Will the terrifying Tumet claim the Golden Dagger or will the tenacious Tia finally break through? And rounding out the first round is a battle of previous winners, Rothgar Gunnarsvard and Delesta Dorel in a battle of unorthodox experience versus cagey street smarts. Will either of these two seasoned veterans rise up and claim the Golden Dagger? The bookmakers are saying 'Maybe'! See you there!
Three Days Of Chaos.
Percival leaned back in his arm chair. A six armed demoness tending to the wounds in both his shoulders; changing the dressing with a mothers delicate touch.
“These worms grow bold, Master,” The Shivarra whispered. “Assassins, void infused elves, even a wolf mage. Seems they’re really trying to cover all possible outcomes.”
“Trying, and failing.” he retorted, looking down at the gnarly bruise in his torso from the mages burst of arcane. A wince of pain as she finished changing the bandages over his stab wounds and he reached for his drink.
“One would think, after I tossed their first attack dog back at them in shambles, tore out that pirate whores eye and set her ship on fire, they’d have gotten the message not to interfere. And their first reaction is to send a hit squad?” he snarled through the aches of pain. “And that blonde woman... since when has Holt employed talent of that caliber?”
He swirled his drink. Amber liquid rolling about in the crystal glass as he thought.
Why would they have sent a lone assassin after him in the first place? A green elf girl no less. Her void magics were impressive, but she was clearly still a novice. Did the house think so little of him that they presumed a single girl, practically fresh off the teet, could have felled him?
Percival had thought that his burning of the ship, and removing that mouthy bitch’s eye, would have sent a clear message to the house that they were better off not crossing him. He had proven he could move through the city’s docks and make a move against them. Retaliation for their transgressions. And yet the instead decided to push their luck.
The other elf, with the claws and the other two assailants, mentioned the journal one lady Rian Kestavin had given him. It was understandable why she might want it back. She had hired him to hunt down her forsaken grandfather with them, after all. But to bring assassins. One more target to add to his list, it would seem. Especially after that unknown assassin dared brutalize his lover so.
He downed the last of his drink and set the glass on the end table.
“Keliriah, I think you, Kiz-Tarash, and myself should discuss an expansion, both of locations and demon power. Westfall has become to risky to continue operating solely there and if Holt is wise, they will surely start sending larger forces against us before long. As my mystic and my champion, I know I can rely on you both. It’s best we prepare to see this country burn.”
“In your name, Master Thalsian.” the demoness answered before retreating into the shadows.
