Crosshares things because I’m fucking starving

- THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE!!! 6’0” (6’2” in heels) COCO ADEL AND HER 5’6” GIRLFRIEND

- Coco wields a massive fucking gun and is constantly carrying it around, you cannot tell me she isn’t 6 feet tall and also super fucking ripped

- Velvet has thrown Yatsuhashi into the air before. Yatsuhashi. She threw him. There’s no we she hasn’t got some serious guns of her own. Periodt.

- Velvet gave Coco night vision glasses for her birthday to help her fear of the dark

- Coco put her sunglasses on Velvet for her to look after

- Velvet absolutely had a crush on Coco at Pharos Academy are u kidding me-

- Coco “I’ll keep my emotions hidden behind my sunglasses and dark humor, and one day I’ll die” Adel

- I’ve been thinking about this for months, but in the novels, Coco purposely makes all the bullets she has on her explode to escape quicksand; I just really want to see Velvet’s reaction to Coco literally blowing herself up

- Alternatively, also in the novels, Velvet collapses a tunnel on top of herself sooooo 👀

Semblance: Satchel, a semblance that gives Cuivre the ability to replicate an opponent’s fighting style and techniques by coming into contact that the target opponent has come into contact with. The target must have come into direct contact with the acquired Dust at at least some point before Cuivre snatches it. However, he can only replicate one fighting style at a time, so if he wishes to go back to a previous style, he must touch the target’s Dust again. 

Weapon: Chai Tea, a satchel that is able to unravel to reveal a camera. Whilst a satchel, it is extremely compact and dense yet simultaneously very lightweight, meaning it’s a hard hitter but a light carrier. Whilst a camera, it has the capability to give off a bright flash that can temporarily daze opponents so he is able to take their Dust for his semblance.

Trivia: 

Cuivre has had his ears and hair pulled many times in his younger teen years when he started dying both gold. Although extremely disheartening at first, a few compliments from renewed White Fang members and cute peers cleared his mind almost immediately.

He is less than approving of the True Bloods, but the current Faunus Civil Rights Group (FCR) led by Ilia Amitola and Blake Belladonna have his full support. He is yet to attend protests since he’s not exactly the type to go to such large group gatherings, but that’s not dampened his voice.

His Australian accent and mannerisms are right from Velvet. However, Coco was the one to train him primarily and help engineer his weapon since it’s so similar to Gianduja. She also trained him alongside Atsuibane in hand-to-hand combat so he didn’t have to rely on his Sembalnce to give him a combat style. Through his impressive weapon handling and hard-hitter persona on the battlefield, Cuivre is extremely popular once he hits Beacon and really gets to shine.

Kusagi and Byakuren may as well be cousins to him. Every summer, the Adels head down to Kuroyuri to visit the Rens, and Cuivre always enjoys the time with his Uncle Fox and the Ren siblings.

He starts crushing on boys easily, much like his sister. At some point he has a crush on Amba Belladonna.

While at Beacon, he becomes very good friends with his teammate, Opal Grey. The two are extremely opposite in terms of social energy, but they seem to get along well enough that they spend every waking hour together despite not being partners.

His favourite meal is honey-miso summer salad, specifically with strawberries, lemon, and baby radishes.

Bestie Better Than The Restie: Cuivre Adel

Semblance: Wicker, a semblance that gives Atsuibane the ability to copy weapons by “tagging” them. Her semblance can be used for as little as mimicking a blade or as large as copying something to the scale of Crescent Rose. She has an extremely versatile fighting style that has allowed her to keep control over weapons she has encountered in the past and hopes to copy in the future, but this means that she cannot use the weapon the same way as the target would. Due to this semblance only being able to copy one weapon at a time, if she wishes to fall back on a previously used weapon she must “retag” it and become readjusted to using it with her fighting style.

Weapon: Frappe Latte, a small drone with tiny paper rabbit ears stapled onto the ‘head’. It serves as a distraction for her opponents so she can easily tag their weapons while they focus on the drone. It serves literally no other purpose.

Trivia: 

Atsui ties her ears back along with her hair, since they’re a bit larger than usual for her age and they flop in front of her work more than she’d like. 

She’s very attached to what she makes and tinkers with to follow her instructions, so much so that people often mistake their programming and loyalty to her to be a highly advanced A.I., which it is not. Her Scroll can control them all but otherwise she has a manual controller from an old games system for each machine, because behind all the oil and grease, she’s still a kid who loves her games.

She’s a close friend of Amba. She initially met him when they were little kids. Accidentally ramming a modified toy plane into the back of his head and almost stepping on his tail ironically led to Atsui becoming a source for a lot of the Belladonna family’s shipped-in Dust and weapon mods. 

If Atsui had been a boy, her name would’ve been Seiko, meaning ‘steel manufacture’ in North Mistrali according to her Uncle Lie.

She’ll eat anything watermelon flavoured, but for a meal, nothing hits the spot like watermelon poke bowl with avocado, ginger, and iced tea for the side.

She used to have a big ol’ crush on Kaenneko, but that faded out by the time Atsui was 10. That doesn’t stop her from crushing on a lot of other girls in her early to mid teens, including a blue-haired monkey Faunus.

Painting and sketching were hobbies she learned to enjoy from Velvet, who has always encouraged her engineering. If she finds something she likes, Atsui will happily drop everything to draw it.

If Atsui is upset, everyone knows. Mostly from the impact crater in the nearest wall.

She is an Empath. Empaths can see Aura acutely to the point that they can differentiate near pefectly who people and animals are just from their Aura. This also means they can easily sense emotions. As a result, Atsui knows how to read a room and the vibes of everyone in said room.

This prompt’s drabble is going to serve as today’s RWBY Tuesday fic!! Enjoy!

There are just some mornings in the team CFVY dorm room when the boys are wise enough to take a hint and go out early to get some breakfast.

Coco's trained them well; she doesn't even have to say anything to persuade them this time. All it takes is a very compelling glance directed at Yatsuhashi (and she's much more terrifying in the morning without the shades to block her eyes), and a very compelling aura directed Fox.

The boys move about very quickly but quietly before ducking out the door.

Coco smirks as she slowly sits herself up in bed and leans back against the headboard, taking care not to wake the team's final member.

Velvet is still fast asleep on her side, her hands curled up at the top of her chest in a manner that Coco is sure gets cuter and cuter every time she sees it. Long, fuzzy Faunus ears twitch occasionally as she sleeps, the brown fur turning a warm orangey-chestnut color in the beams of sunlight slipping through.

Coco Adel is Gay? Possible future Crosshares??? Sign me the fuck up!

Ok but in all seriousness, I love Coco and Velvet and I honestly love Crosshares and wish for it to happen. So of course, hearing about the leak got me all sorts of excited. 

Then I read it.

 Don’t get me wrong, I’m still excited about the idea of Coco being gay but I think the fandom is reading to much into it when saying “OMG VELVET IS SO GAY FOR COCO IN THE LEAK!”

I can understand how it could be seen as Velvet having a crush on Coco, but it’s honestly too vague to be able to confirm that for sure.

I’m sure we can all agree that Velvet seems like the type of person that’s a little shy and therefore, it would make sense that if she were to be stuck with someone as a partner for 4 years, she would want to be around someone she knows, like Coco. 

I know it says that she barely knows her but it’s not like it detailed any other choices.

Could be a crush too, idk but as much as I’d like it to be, I don’t want to make that assumption off of a leak. (That might still have the possibility of being fake.)

I have a headcannon that Coco has a favourite coffee shop with a really old worn out couch in the corner which she takes every time. She’d make Velvet sit on her lap, not giving a shit whether she’s embarrassed and flashes a death glare at anyone who walks anywhere near them. My headcannon Coco is kind of a bitch.  

Can we talk about Coco’s gloves and all the unfortunate implications that come with them?
