The curiosity of this species of fish is so amazing. 🐟 Its called the Blacktail comber (Serranus atricauda). They are, of course, looking for food. When playing with your fingers in the sand, they come very close by. Also, I had moments where the fish swims towards your mask and possibly it saw itself in the reflection.

Two fun facts! Firstly I wanted to convey the memory in stark contrast to the reality of the sinking - thus the sketchier lines and color. And secondly, I couldn't get any pictures of the inside of the church in Comber Ireland that the two were married in. Instead this is the inside of the Unitarian Universalist Church here in Buffalo, NY - constructed by Edward Austin Kent who died on-board the Titanic.
