[ID: Three pride flags, each with two versions, separated by black lines with a plus and equals symbol on them, showing that the first two flags are being combined to create the third.
The first is the touch-averse flag, with five symetrical horizontal stripes of: orange, red, black, red, and orange. The second version has white italicized text on the black stripe that reads, “I will fucking bite you”.
Separating these from the next set is a black band with a white plus symbol in the middle.
The next flag is the it/its pronoun flag, with horizontal stripes of different sizes, from top to bottom: A thick pale yellow stripe, a thin green stripe, a thin light grey stripe, a grey stripe, a thin light grey stripe, a thin green stripe, and a thick sky blue stripe. The second version has black text in the middle, that reads, “It/it/its/itself”.
Separating these from the next set is a black band with a white equals sign in the middle.
The last flag has horizontal stripes of different sizes: A gold stripe, an orange stripe, a thin dark, desaturated blue stripe, a very dark grey stripe, a thin orange stripe, a dark, desaturated blue stripe, and an olive green stripe. The second version of the flag has white text across the middle that reads, “Watch out--it bites!”.
I combined my touch-averse flag with my it/its flag because it’s funny and true. Don’t touch me. I bite.
I created it by putting the two flags on top of eachother in GIMP, and lowering the opacity by 50% so the top one was slightly transparent, then I got rid of some of the extra stripes and made it brighter so that it wasn’t too complicated or greyed-out.
Anyone who’s touch averse can use the touch averse flag, and anyone who uses it/its can use the it/its flag. The combination flag can be used by anyone who is touch-averse and uses it/its pronouns.
And in case anyone is wondering, no there are no requirements for being touch averse besides being touch averse. You don’t have to be autistic. You don’t have to be traumatized. If you don’t like people touching you? If you feel like the word touch averse applies to you? Then you’re touch averse. There’s no checklist you need to fill out. It’s not an exclusive club where only some people are allowed to be members. If you don’t like being touched, you’re touch averse.
Here is an even more simplified version for those who want it:
[ID: A flag with five horizontal stripes of: gold, orange, very dark grey, dark, desaturated blue, and olive green. End ID.]
These can be used for anything you’d use a pride flag for -- headers, icons, moodboards, redbubble designs, ect. If you do use them for something, please consider including an image description in the post for accessibility, the way I did here!
