Almonds story is NOT based on the Backrooms Movie, his lore is not even inspired by it

It is my own personal version of the Backrooms, inspired by the original 4Chan post, a mix of multiple games, multiple different versions of the “wiki”, and only inspired second hand from Kane’s YouTube series via the fandom building on his ideas (CHECK THE FANDOM TAGS) as I hadn’t actually watched the series before I began this story

I love Kane’s depiction, I think it’s genuinely so insanely cool and detailed

But I don’t love how I’ve had a few people point out differences in my telling of the Backrooms compared to the Backrooms movie, telling me I am wrong for how I write it

Almond has been around since before the movie was even conceptualised!!
