Well, I know I'm being totally out of context or maybe I could just write it in the comment. I dunno what came over me but the last post about Rat Anon and the cult thing? Well.. Cheese 🧀 is one thing but.. I don't mind being culted if it's you, seriously. You being the cult leader, sure. I'll worship you and follow you to wherever depths of doom or salvation you take, that's upto you. Just saying, this lazy girl in the background will also be behind you like a creep, with whatever weapon you need. (Or maybe tissues for a good tearful crying session after reading your writing.)

Good Morning!☀

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

Come. A simple, clear word. All. Another even simpler, clear word. All of whom? All who labor and are heavy ladened, weighed down.

Such are they whom Jesus bid "Come". All who fit that description are bidden to "Come". Should they respond to his clear call by coming, he promises "I will give you rest". 

Lest you think this was something just offered during Jesus', hear what the Spirit through the prophet Isaiah said hundreds of years earlier:

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Isaiah 55:1-3

Ever since Adam distanced himself from God through disobedience mankind has been seeking rest. God has left the door open for us to come to him and find the rest that we seek but instead, we look for it in all the wrong places. Any place that leaves God out is the wrong place!

The solution to that inner restlessness you feel is simple and clear. Come!
