Block Party killed Deez Dogz, also Comet Dog is apparently called "Deez Dogz"
Per an email from my favorite county agency, the King County Public Health*, Comet Dog not only fucked up under that Capitol Hill Block Party pressure -- they're apparently known officially as "Deez Dogs."

Deez Dogz located at the 1500 Block of 10th Ave., Seattle was closed by a Public Health food inspector on July 27, 2014 at 12:24 am for the following food safety violations: Potentially hazardous foods at unsafe temperatures. Operating without a valid permit.
Okay, the permit probably had little to do with getting overwhelmed with super-hype youths fresh off of seeing A$AP Rocky, but it's fine -- they'll be allowed to reopen pending them fixing everything.
Still, we wonder about the future of Comet Dog Deez Dogz, due to their prime location at the corner of Dave and Meinert. Did someone make a call into the permit office? Can we expect the Dave Meinert Artisan Hot Doggery** in a few short weeks?? WILL DAVE MEINERT BUY AND RESCUE DEEZ DOGZ, BUT RENAME IT SOMETHING BORING BUT PALATABLE LIKE "CAPITOL JOE'S PRETTY DECENT HOT DOG CORNER"??? Only time will tell.
