Poppin off with da ominous diner backgrounds
new youtube video! If you're interested in a inside look at my (rather rambly lol) backgrounds process for my webtoon/webcomic, that's what this video is about!
Compilation of the 3D models I've made in Blender! I'm pretty proud of how they turned out :)
I remember a professor telling our class one time that if we wanted to extend memorable character to something as simple as a wall, we’d need to first learn to draw it brick by brick. The lesson later continued to us figuring out what not to draw while still retaining that initial character, but I think my mind never left the part where each and every brick NEEDS to be drawn… 😅 learning everyday here.
Here are some of the layers for the drawing of this garden trellis, a background for a short comic story I’m putting together🌿✍️
I have to draw a background that is not worth 3D modelling (it will only show up in 1 panel)
my hands are so unused to this; is this what everyone who doesn’t just lazily 3D models their background feels all the time?
With all of this Drawcember going on, I still can’t forget my regular comic!

New background for my next comic! Tried a new style with this. Not sure about it though...
