How many times do we have to read/hear about actors, directors talk about wanting to get superheroes “grounded” in reality?

Im getting so very tired of this thinking that comic book adaptions have to be “grounded” and realistic as possible. I want to see bright, colorful costumes, citys with character, over the top action scenes...i have enough “grounded” realism in my life as it is, i dont need that with my comic book heroes.
