Square: Body Swap
The Force-Sensitive Naboo native, Padmé Naberrie, was found by the Jedi Count Dooku at a young age. Her unexpected skills changed the direction of the life her parents panned for her; she did not become Queen Amidala but rather a Jedi herself. Once the proud Padawan of MasterDooku, she served a brief stint as the young diplomatic Jedi attaché of Queen Eirtaé of Naboo. In the aftermath of the blockade, with Chancellor Palpatine in place and Queen Eirtaé regretting her choice, Naboo drew away from the Senate and retreated into Separatist allyship. Once she returned to Coruscant, Masterless in the absence of Dooku after he parted ways with the Order, she finished her studies under the tutelage of Master Windu until she was knighted. Padmé still had close emotional ties to the ex-queen and handmaidens she once served; after a life severed from her culture and ingrained in that of the Jedi, with only her beloved peer Aayla Secura by her side, she clung to that brief kinship and found in it, too, that her beloved and trusted previous Master Dooku was among the Separatists. Torn between her dedication to the Jedi as well as her old Master and her newfound loyalty to Naboo, Padmé remained a Jedi, serving as a double agent sending information to Dooku and Naboo Separatists. This complicated the already tumultuous secret relationship between Padmé and Aayla in the romantic years-long relationship they each tried and failed to suppress.
