Kevin is walking down Park Ave. He spots a pawn shop across the street adjacent to Galveston park. He walks across the street and enters the pawn shop when he opens the door shutters a bell
Shopkeeper: Hey my name is Darren, how are you today? I buy and sell antique and non antique wares let me know if you see anything you like.
Kevin: hey, I’m Kevin Corbin. I’m looking for a magazine rack for my comic book shop.
Darren: hmm, well Mr. Corbin I’ll take a look in the back to see if I might have one give me a sec.
Kevin begins to browse the shop he spots a leather bound notebook on a stand from the corner of his eye. He makes his way over picks up the notebook.
Darren: Sorry but I don’t seem to have any magazine racks sorry about that Mr. Corbin.
Kevin: No worries just ring me up for this notebook instead.
(Back at Kevin’s Town House)
Kevin walks in the door and brings the notebook out and begins to transfer his deciphered code from the book titled the prophets of the trials
Kevin: Now I can keep everything in one place. So when I go to look for the trials of olde comics I will be able to have all my notes with me. Linda is gonna be home from work soon I should get some dinner ready.
Linda walks through the door
Linda: Kevin honey I’m home!
Kevin: hey babe I’m made dinner
Linda: Ooo what did you make?
Kevin: Mac n cheese! Oh Linda hun guess what?
Kevin: I finally deciphered all the codes in the book I just need to find out how to get into the map vault under the shop.
Linda: Kevin will you give it a rest with these comics they are a myth; a story. Ever since you found out that shop had a weird stone door and you bought the place and made Corbin’s Corner you have been obsessing over that door.
Kevin: Linda! Its all right here in this book and I know its true and I know that map is going to be in that vault.
Linda: lets just forget about that door and come watch the new Walking Deceased episode with me
Kevin walks into Corbin’s Corner and turns on the lights. Then he walks down stairs to a office and moves the book shelf from the wall exposing a cut out in the wall. He then walks down another stairs into a tunnel with a cobble stone floor. Kevin continues to walk down the tunnel until he reaches the vault door.
The vault door is covered in ancient text engraved around the outer edge. There are three statues in front of the door
Kevin: I know the statues have something to do with the door but I just can’t figure it out.
Kevin trips and falls grabbing one of the warrior statues arms moving it downwards and then the door starts to make clacking and clicking noises. Kevin records the incident in his notebook. He then begins to put the arms in different positions.
Kevin: Man I’ve been out late I better get back before Linda wakes up
