I wanna ship jaytim (I've seen a tiny bit I'm almost in love) but I don't feel like I know enough about the characters or batman franchise as a whole. do you know of any resources to help a newbie out?

Comics are hard to navigate even for a someone who been in it for forever, so I totally get it. Comicvine and dc wiki/normal wiki were a huge help when I started, comic wise though some canon jaytim interactions are in

Pre-flashpoint:

- Batman: Hush (the first time they “meet”)-Teen Titans vol. 3 #29- Red Hood: The Lost days (though that’s just Jay crying over pics of Tim, still revelant)- Robin vol. 4 #184- Battle for the Cowl (iconic jaytim)

New 52:

- Night of Owls (Court of Owls event)- Death of the Family- Batman and Robin Eternal - Robin Wars

Hi! It's not quite Stray!Tim but it has Tim taking a cat themed pesona with Selina being a huge influence in his life. The fic series is called 'lit!verse: understatement' by (the awesome) heartslogos

Definition: Also known as "meiosis", it is the opposite of exaggeration (hyperbole). It is a figure of speech in which a writer or speaker deliberately makes a situation seem less important or serious than it is. Meiosis can also mean to belittle using a degrading epithet.

Mod note: I LOVE this series. It was one of the first Jaytim fics I read because I had fallen down heartslogos’ rabbit hole. 10/10 recommend.
