I've improved some of the Minecraft world in the little free time I've had these days. I've made the ceiling of the corridor (along with some decoration) and I've done some research on command blocks.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. This is the first floor (of 6). On each floor I'm doing some of the Enterprise rooms from TOS. This first floor is just the transporter room.

He tenido que hacer un mapa de las plantas para tener claro dónde está cada sala. Más tarde subiré esos mapas (y por fin las siguientes páginas del cómic)

I had to make a map of the floors to know where each room is. Later I will upload those maps (and finally the next pages of the comic)

As a minecraft builder, I have nothing but complete awe and respect for redstoners and command block coders. Y’all are insane, you make vanilla look modded and I don’t think I’ll ever know how lol

Minecraft but every 5 seconds I get a random status effect for 5 seconds.

I temporarily went into Creative Mode to take this picture. This is the spawn chunk of my world, and where the magic happens. Each pair of command blocks under an armor stand does two things: One has the command "/effect give basaltwinds (status effect) 5 (amplifier)" and the other has the command "/replace block (coordinate between the two command blocks) minecraft:air"

The redstone cycle spawns a redstone block two blocks below a random armor stand every five seconds. I forgot the command, but if you search "command block randomizer" it should come up.

If you're planning on doing a singleplayer world with this, replace "basaltwinds" with your username. If you're planning on doing a multiplayer, replace "basaltwinds" with @a.

Cheats must be enabled for this to be doable in vanilla. I started by building the machine in Creative, then I cleared my inventory and went to Survival. Eventually I turned Keep Inventory on because I kept withering away or falling from a high place.

To prevent commands from filling the chat, use the command "/gamerule commandBlockOutput false"

The amplifier for the /effect command is funny. The base amplifier is 0, which gives you level 1 of the effect. If you want Regeneration 3, you have to set the amplifier value to 2.

Im working on a Minecraft map and it's going to take me forever

Basically, for each block in the thing I'm working on it needs 10 command blocks and there is over 450 blocks. This is literally gonna kill me AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
