LeiLani Hartley joined the #Army after a very brief term in the Air Force, because the Army was geared more towards goals of being a fit, female in the military. The promotion and opportunity rate was greater than they ever were before. Since joining the Army she has had the #opportunities to do things that she would have never dreamed about. She has been to Air Assault School, was one of the only Pathfinder qualified females (or males for that matter) in my MOS ( #92W - #WaterTreatmentSpecialist). She attended Ranger School in 2015. She has been an Basic Leadership Course Instructor, one of the first to earn the instructor badge and Advanced Individual Training. She has made numerous #Commandants lists and has been the #IronSoldier in a few schools as well. SFC Hartley is very proud to be a woman in uniform because statistically speaking she is a part of the few.
