3. What is the ideal date for your commander?

To be completely honest, just anything that doesn't involve her being 'The Commander' for a few hours. Give her and Braham some peace and she'll be golden.

7. Does your commander refer roses or sunflowers?

Sunflowers!

12. If married, what was the wedding like?

Yes, Terra & Braham are married! I keep changing my mind on 'when', exactly, it happened, but I'm honestly thinking sometime mid Icebrood - a quick little exchange of vows, just to make sure, in case anything happened. Sometime after Whisper and reuniting with Aurene, in the Eye of the North.

Very private and small, not a lot of people there - and then they had a bigger party and 'vows' once Icebrood was over, as a sort of celebration.

13. What did your commander wear to their wedding?

Terra wore some variety of the below! Though I imagine she had some furs and Norn-esque items to go with it. She just wanted - and deserved dammit - a big poofy dress by that point. Lovely art by @vectober ♥

5.) Does your commander want to get married?

Dietrich has never thought up to marriage. He always assumed he would stay alone and probably perish in some dramatic world ending event before that ever happened.

9.) Who said “I love you” first?

Dietrich will not say I love you first. He will show it however, in his touch, and behavior. He is a bit scared of rejection and would rather wait till his partner voices it out loud first.

Free Space: 1. Who was your commander’s first love?

Dietrich’s very first love was Rioko, when they were much younger. The relationship never went anywhere, but they are extremely close still!

1. Which dragon scared your commander the most?

Originally I would have said Mordremoth... but it's actually Jormag. Mordremoth could only effect Sylvari's minds - which was terrifying, and she had to struggle through it's influence several times, but.

Jormag could effect everyone - no matter their species. Watching her friends and loved ones and allies have to deal with that - seeing soldiers go missing, turning against each other, or just plain going mad - was like Mordremoth all over again, tenfold.

Especially when Jormag started targeting specific people - herself, and Braham and Marjory. It had her up in arms very quickly.

7. How does your commander feel toward their position of power?

She's very alike Laighe in that she's sort of just done with it haha. She attempted to retire as Commander and was basically told 'no' so she's kept going, out of a sense of duty and needing to keep the people she cares about safe, but...

Well, at this point, post EoD? She's done, she is retired, dammit. Someone else can take the mantle of Commander, she's been doing it almost literally her entire life and she's tired.

11. What is the proudest moment your commander has experienced?

Mmmm I would say, maybe two - being able to struggle through and beat back Mordremoth's influence while in it's mind, at the end of Heart of Thorns, definitely.

But also being able to help Kralkatorrik sleep, when it was clear in the end that that was all he wanted - and to see Aurene blossom with her help, to have helped her survive the branding.

18. How does your commander handle stress?

She cooks or bakes. Terra is that person who would stress bake her life away if she was allowed. More then once, Braham or another member of Dragon's Watch has found her borrowing the kitchen of whatever homestead or inn or camp they're sleeping at, middle of the night, cooking something.

It's simple, and repetitive, and useful, because it means she can help feed people, and it just keeps her hands and mind busy.

8. Does your commander fear death?

At this point, not really. She doesn't want to die, but... she's already died once. She's almost died twice since then. It's sort of just... something lurking around the corner that no longer bothers her. She's not looking for it, but it doesn't scare her.

9. Does your commander believe they’re on the right path?

She's questioned it, on occasion - especially in LWS4, during the whole confrontation with Joko. He had a point, whether she liked it or not. But now - now, with Aurene blossomed, her friends seemingly safe, and herself finally retiring - Terra thinks she did pretty good.

15. How has your commander changed overtime?

Hoo boy, that's sort of tricky. Terra started out bright eyed and ready to take on the world, more or less - but then she saw friends and allies slain, saw the world for what it was, and that brightness dulled, somewhat.

Terra has grown a lot, in maturity and beliefs and even looks - she has long hair now instead of short, her spine is lined in Branded Crystals from Aurene - done to save her after being wounded by Bangar's Arrow.

She grew up, and she met loss, but she also kept going - and I think she's come out much stronger in the end.

20. Can anyone calm your commander down, no matter what? If yes, who and why?

Yes - and to absolutely no ones surprise, there are two people.

Braham, first and foremost, can pull Terra out of whatever state she's put herself in - be it rage, or fear, or sorrow. They've known each other so long at this point, been good friends and each other's shoulders through so many traumatic events - he's learned her triggers, and how to help her cope.

As a note - this would be true even if I didn't write them as a romantic couple. They still have that fundamental relationship, and I don't think i could ever write them without at least being deeply connected best friends.

The second is Aurene - who, because of her Bond with Terra as her Champion, can sort of... pull her out of herself, when needed. We see this at times in EoD - Aurene can pull Terra into her own mind - so if her Champion is struggling in a deep moment of sorrow, why wouldn't she be able to do the same, again?

19. How does your commander unwind?

Sort of answered over here under 18 for stress, but Terra enjoys baking even when she's not stressed out of her mind haha. She loves being able to feed her loved ones!

She also actually really enjoys swimming! Anytime they're near a safe body of water and she can relax, she will 100% just dive in for a while.

4. How does your commander remember the fallen?

Sometimes with gifts to their memorials, if they have one. Sometimes with small prayers, or stories spoken as if they're there to listen. Other time by telling stories to others, to make sure the world remembers them.

10. When alone, how does your commander handle grief?

Terra bottles her grief until it explodes - if she's alone, she'll cry, and let the grief take control. Her magic sometimes goes wild for a bit, depending on how long she's been bottling - but only if she's in a safe space away from other people.

Most of the time, though... she just cries.
