rare friendship dynamic that I adore: cool lesbian and awkward straight dude who have had each other's back forever and have a deep emotional bond. for instance
Old art repost but missed her
Trans femme Gren real
whoever chose to give young gren beautiful shoulder length hair made an INSPIRED choice
Small moment of appreciation for Commander Gren's design in The Dragon Prince. It's a minor detail, but I appreciate how as Amaya's company approaches the Banther Lodge, she's dressed in such a standard soldier's uniform her own nephews don't recognize her, but if you look beside her, Gren rides nearby with no weapon (nothing to occupy his hands) and no helm (nothing to conceal his face). Even though he's also in uniform with a military title, it's just such a neat way to portray that he's not another random soldier, he's her interpreter/effectively her voice and ears, when necessary. His hands are free to sign to her, his face is clear if she needs to read his lips.
