Well, it can’t really lay claim to the whole “most exciting adventure series in the history of television” thing, but its premiere was a big deal and did feel like an epic television event back in 1975. I was glued to the series premiere--which I hold was a bit of solid programming--and to this day I love those Eagle transports.
