Some of my GW2 characters! Alec has his real name rather then his in-game name, and I still haven’t decided on a surname for Tiu yet so he just gets his title 😅
A sketch of Oighrig! Dunno what she’s up to but she’s here to help.
Day 1: Oldest/Newest Characters
Alec has been my Commander since I started playing! His story is super edgy and convoluted and super lore breaky but I love working on it so much! He’s a gentle quiet young man struggling to keep his weird powers under control that may or may because he was previously an evil eldritch god.
Oighrig is my newest character AND a new commander! Her story is completely separate from Alec’s (Because I just can’t retire him sorry he’s gotta play though the whooooole story poor man) but I wanted to play around with the story with a new person! She’s a farmer who decided she was going to take saving the world into her own hands because it felt like all the important people were to busy bickering. She’s down to earth, kind and loves being able to make a difference in everything she does!
The Dreadnought Raptor is the closest I can get to an armoured warhorse so it goes to my two Knight in Shining Armour characters.
(Just pretend they are super strong horses rather then raptors 😭🤣)
I wanted to draw my characters and their flags just because, I’ve only sketches these two so far and I need to tweek Oighrig’s a bit, but I’ll sketch everyone’s first I think!

She’s a sturdy human who’s gonna stop all this destructive nonsense because it seems no one else is getting on with it and are just bickering amongst themselves (Looking at all the times Whispers, Vigil, and Priory all get YOU to do the work and pick sides during the personal story lmao)

Ohh a good range of numbers! I’m gonna answer for my my other Commander Oighrig and @leftincommand‘s gal Mytheria!
1.When did they meet?
I think what we said would happen is that they meet at a very fancy fundraising event or noble party that the Commander HAS to attend for appearances sake? And Oighrig isn’t really one for fancy parties and she just sees this other person who doesn’t look all that comfortable being there (Mytheria) and ends up striking a conversation to the bewilderment of this very dainty posh lady.
7. Do they fight a lot?
Probably a healthy amount! I think one argument they have fairly frequently is Oighrig wearing her muddy boots into the house after working on the farm and Miffy being VERY displeased at all the dirt she tracks in XD
18. Who’s a night owl vs early bird?
Oighrig is 100% an early bird! She’s used to tending to the farm and that means getting up very early and doing all the tasks for the day. Her later work as a “soldier” and commander lend itself well to early starts too.
Mytheria on the other hand is a night owl! She stays up late reading lots of novels or working hard on political and influental things (All the stuff Oighrig HATES doing as Commander. I guess in a way Miffy is a bit like a pact marshal XD)
21. Who’s more likely to get arrested?
Alas it’s Oighrig. 😅 She can and has gotten into arguments with guards, or soldiers, or anyone really, if she doesn’t think they are doing their job and helping people. Luckily, on top of Oighrig being the commander, Mytheria is very good at pulling strings in political and social circles, so on the off chance Oighrig DID land herself in jail, Mytheria would have it wrapped up nice and quick as “a misunderstanding” and Oighrig would get let out. (And then probably be scolded by her tiny wife in a loving way)
22. Who wears the other’s clothes?
Probably neither really! Mytheria adores her expensive elegant clothing, and a lot of Oighrig’s are worn and torn (Except the formal stuff/armour) and Oighrig is a lot broader then her tiny wife. Miffy DOES don some of Oighrig’s bed clothes though when she wants to be a tease and Oighrig is all about that.

Currently in game I only have Alec as my commander but I want to make Oighrig in a couple of days! (And my future Vari is??? when he’ll be made XD)
Poor Alec LOVES physical affection he finds out but is super not good with handling his emotions or people so kinda just, doesn’t and represses everything oops. He also likes doing things for people especially cooking but again he doesn’t really know people so mostly just keeps to himself.
Oighrig on the other hand is always ready to congratulate people with a big hug or pat on the shoulder, or give them words of encouragement! She doesn’t see the point in not letting people know how well they are doing, especially with how uncertain the world currently is!
