Is yozakura quartet worth the watch

tl;dr: yeh dude

The show can lack character development in some places (apparently the manga has a lot more; some have reported too much) and the story can sometimes feel underexplained, but overall it’s a fun, lighthearted ride, especially with all the energy and enthusiasm that flows out of it.

Keep in mind that there are two Yozakura Quartets: the first one without any subtitles, and the recent few that have subtitles in their titles. Don’t watch the first one, it’s boring.

As for the recent ones, watch them in this order:

Hana no Uta Episodes 1-8

Hoshi no Umi

Hana no Uta Episodes 9-13

Tsuki ni Naku

The show can get fanservicey at times, but if you can handle Kill la Kill (I know most of you can), you can handle this.

Lastly, watch it with headphones. The sound design is so amazing that it’s hard for me to describe it. If I were to present examples, I might accidentally spoil something, so I’ll just let that speak for itself.

TBH if you're gonna skip the filler just watch dbz Kai, it's the original without the filler so it's closer to the manga. I just feel like that'd be easier haha

yeah but they censor the blood in kai and tbh… whats the point if i dont get to watch anime without a gratuitous amount of blood
