I feel like life was very black and white as a kid. There were straightforward rules everywhere; posted signs and adults telling us to do this, don't do that, say this, respond this way in this situation. But the older i get the grayer life gets. Situations are complex and have good and bad mixed. Right and wrong is subjective. No one taught me how to live in between points on a spectrum.

why a studyblr:

Well, short story, I feel really down and I don´t want to fail my classes. I go to school on Saturdays (it’s a modality called open university) and all the week I -technically- do my assignments, however like this modality and career wasn’t my first choice I’m not feeling 100% motivated. However, I believe this is my path and my way to get where I want to be.

Goals:

-  Complete 100 days of productivity and become disciplined.

-  Be a better version of myself.

-  Learn about other topics like art, culture and so.

- Make some friends!

-  Avoid feeling lonely.

-   Start learning my target languages and get better at English.

 - Actually use my bullet journal.

whenever my friends find out i've been upset about something for a while and have never said anything to them, they're always so surprised? they say, "you know that you can call people out and tell them when they say/do things you don't like or disagree with, right?" in a tone that heavily implies this is information they shouldn't need to be giving me.

i get that voicing your emotions, given a little courage, should be easy enough for most people. but i have spent so much of my life being told that the things i fixate on are trivial, or irrational, or not worth being upset over. i've been shown again and again that the things i care about don't matter to other people and that i should just let them go. but i can't let anything go. no one sees why i'm upset, no one cares why i'm upset, I shouldn't be upset, but i am upset. and there's never any resolution. the upsets are just building and building. and if i tell anyone about them, they'll just call me silly or say i'm only trying to ruin everything. i wish i had a manual that would tell me which things i'm allowed to share my feelings about.

Me: can't wear anything but the same 1 shirt and 1 pair of yoga pants for weeks on end because going from one fit and fabric to a different one is sensory hell

Also me: is afraid people will notice I never wear anything different and judge me so i never leave the house or see anyone
