Since I have managed my uni studies well and there are A LOT of debates on Fictional Shipping and Newtmas too, I'm continuing the making of my 2 hour Newtmas video...wonder how many months it will take to research on psychology, medical science, propaganda, biopolitics (if that's even a thing), biology, survival, media potrayal, queer studies, discrimination, mass communication, brainwashing, mental health, trauma....uhoh. All for a study on why we ship fictional characters. Yes I am that insane. No you may not question me.
(I guess this is my only way for me to actually grind in uni)
(And all of this bc many believe that [I] ship them because they are popular...no cause I'm pulling statistics atp. 💀)
It's gonna take a while but I WILL MAKE IT I PROMISEEEE
And also, it's not just about Newtmas tbh, it's also going to be about TMR in general too, but my core foundation of making said video is them...also, this is a part of a uni assignment to do a mock presentation of using references and bibliography and...............I'm feeling a lil extra LOL
BUT YES I WILL Also make a separate video on why people ship fictional characters and tendencies of human dynamics in fandoms. And like seriously I have grown as who I am now MORE from fandoms than....actual real life.

While this might be a little risky, I want to get a few things clear;
1. I will be focusing on media/fiction/literature adjacent research topics that correlates to my supposed focus on fiction and media potrayal. While human dynamics may be mentioned, it's mostly based on mass communication.
2. I will openly and transparently provide the links, docs, and access to said journals, articles, etc. Yes I will store it in a huge PDF so you all can see my references, and it will be sorted on topics.
3. I'm pretty confused on things like romantic relationships since they are highly personal and subjective??? But I'll try my best
4. I might also accidentally find out if TMR ITSELF was done by research right??? I meann???? Sure it was fictional but it has potrayals of reality????
One of my favorite books so far was called "Dignity and Power Biopolitics in Comtemporary Literature and Philosophy" !! I felt like that title alone really suits my interest but I was skeptical anyway. (Hahahah it was a uni assignment...don't assume that I read it overnight 😔😔😔)
Now while this book described briefly about modern politics, the book was mainly talking about human dignity and how it overlapped with ppwer structures. I think this could be a HUGE insight to analyze characters like Thomas, Newt, Minho, and Teresa, or anyone relevant really. I wanna see how WCKD, the supposed power, affects them and their dignity.
(And also, shame on everyone who thinks that higher education is or should be a luxury. Education has never, is not, and will never be a luxury, gatekept, or exclusive.)
Hot take: I actually love seeing fandoms, rants, and ship wars tbh. They genuinely provide me with new insights quite often and they, and fandoms in general, encourage young people to be able to form coherent thoughts, opinions, and critical thinking. It's very rare to find spaces where criticism and teens trying to spark critical thinking are very much encouraged, if at all.
Thanks to fighting randos online, I literally lose the ability to struggle to do research and long academic papers 😭😭😭🙏 like- thanks to the fandom, I will ALWAYS have something to say and I grow to learn to KNOW how to express my thoughts, opinions, and views because of y'all.
No cause this is real tho- it's not rare that I see members of fandoms that write actual cohesive, structural, and in depth rants and essays that can take the same effort as writing an academic paper...I'm being dead serious. No I am not joking. 😭
When most people fandom discourse and ship wars are toxic, I wholeheartedly believe that healthy discourse should always exist. It's been as old as time that the youth and adolescene have little to no space to fully express themselves, or form their thoughts other than in school or academic settings.
You know what, I'm leaving all communities cause all of them are toxic. I feel with the Wilbur accusations and with what happened to Shelby, just seeing so much of it just makes me realize I shouldn't be on this site.
Twitter and Tumblr are so extremly toxic and even though a lot of them are making the correct choice in closing their support of someone who is bad there are many who are pretty much not respecting other cc's who were close to him, like his respons was just today and this all is probably harder for some as with how W manipulates people it's possible some didn't realize how bad it actually was.
Like stalking cc's to respond isn't helping anyone, especially Shelby and other victims. It's just causing more drama and problems than it needs to be if any.
I am gonna leave all communities cause again all are toxic and I just don't need to see anymore drama and toxicity as I already have personal things going on and I need to improve my mental and physical health.
To qsmp community I still will be enjoy the server on my own, I just can't with this whole situation is the last straw as that's all I'm seeing and it stressed me out way too much despite not being a big fan of W.
But thank u to those who posts what's going on on the qsmp as sometimes I don't catch up on it and also many of u are talented and don't give on your art and writing.
I learned and still am learning about of languages and cultures and it's all because of the server and some of you guys and I will miss checking on here for more updates.
To ex W fans, I'm sorry you all have to go through being betrayed by someone you either looked up to or helped you at your worst. Trust me I've experienced that too many times unfortunately, it may feel like all are bad but all you can do is continue enjoying those you do feel is generen and kind. Not all cc's are awful and manipulating. Unfortuently some are but not all so just stay safe and try to enjoy whoever while being careful.
To the victims and Shelby, I'm sorry you all had to go through all this, what he did is awful and shouldn't be excused, Shelby and those who talked about is are very strong and I wish them the best in the future and hope they all can move on from all this.
But yeah I doubt I'll return to at least the fandom communities so this is my goodbye and hope this whole situation gets resolved. Just tired of seeing so many bad things happen everywhere and it just isn't healthy for me so that's why I'm saying this.
