Students in Art 284: Craft and Culture, taught by Prof. Gerri Ondrizek last semester, made more than 40 hand-thrown ceramic bowls to help raise funds for Zenger Farm’s CSA Food Stamp Program. This Gifting the Bowl Project is part of a June 26 Juneteenth Edition of Zenger's Community Chef Dinner Series.
The Reed studio-art course explored the craft of ceramics and glass, their historical and cultural context, and contemporary culture’s engagement with these craft forms.

Green Acres Village: Dinner Outside on Patio, not once but twice! — which, in this unusual spring of intermittent rain, was a big gamble, especially last night, when a few drops did fall, and we covered the food for a few minutes.
Green Acres Village, May 23rd Community Dinner: The usual beautiful people plus, “What is a cank?” via @AnnKreilkamp #GAPV #CommunityDinner #SocialPermaculture Though it wasn’t raining, the patio and furniture were still wet, so we met inside the Overhill house, at least 18 of us, not sure, some were going in and out of oohing and aahing at the new chicks who are much larger and safely into a larger cage in the greenhouse for now.
