Good morning everyone. I hope you all slept well and are preparing to have a peaceful day. I am in total awe of how God is moving in my life and in the lives of others in my community. Honestly, I've been very afraid lately and He's allowed that to become an opportunity for me to trust Him. God knows that I was discouraged the past few weeks due to personal circumstances. I was also disappointed by the lack of support from some people I expected to be involved with the recent developments. But God truly showed me that He is the one that I should rely on. He has shown me that I have so many incredible people in my corner and I'm able to be in theirs as well. God provided the resources, relationships, environments for peaceful discussions, solutions, plans, and so much more. The wisdom that has been flowing in these community gatherings has been from above. Out of His love, He never fails to show that His ways are not like ours. Love, respect, forgiveness, unity, and honesty have been solid pieces for the foundation that the latest MBKCares gatherings have been established upon. Last night we had a very productive discussion about partnership, solutions and healing. Together we recognized that we have all the resources within the community to change things and to ultimately save lives. Thank you to everyone who was there last night and thank you to everyone who wanted to attend but couldn't. Your voices, your faith, your hope, your ears, your entire lives matter so much to me and everyone else involved with this mission of love. Plans will continue to be formulated and executed based off of what we have collectively identified as solutions. This is deeper than religion, race, age, education, social status, personal ambitions, and organizations. This is what love looks like!!! God is truly up to something and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.
