Walking into more good luck, I sold 2 paintings this week! Here is one of them: Gardenscape acrylic on canvas 36 x 12 x 1.5 inches 2017 Been handing out art cards on my route. People ask what days I’m working trying to slot themselves into my availability, then I have to explain well I don’t work everyday as a homecare nurse full time, and naturally the subject of art pops up, and well what kind of art do I do, etc. It’s easier for me to show than to explain and if I’m on a timed route, a picture with a website is magic. They tend to open and cheer people up in the least. A week goes by and it’s time for me to check on someone again and sometimes they have QUESTIONS and other times they CAN’T WAIT to own an original!! These experiences have also taught me how art can reveal our inner selves. The editor wants to get that article published, the documentarian wants a piece, the teacher wants to discuss, the stockbroker wants to be in the business of buying and selling, the grandmother wants to show her grandkids, people just want to be involved in their own special way, what great, great luck, what great compliment. 🥰#paintingsale #gardenpainting #torontoart #communitynurse #homecare #artaslife #feelinglucky #artjournal #luck #contemporaryart #carvingownpath #livingartist #personalconnections #health #arthealth (at Toronto, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3BN--5AJsB/?igshid=1urgbhpz7dpej
