I followed and watch @drkeyhallmon and her baby @thevillagemarketatl grow for years and outside looking in, I looked up to her work ethic with a high esteem and respect for some time now and to not only get an opportunity to be apart of an amazing cohort @guildatl, but to have one of the Atlanta's Community Influencer come to us today with open arms and gift us with her teaching was a treat an experience and lessons I will take apply to business forever. "The patience to stay to see it flourish" - Buenos Dias @nikishka (@get_regrann) - This morning’s session of @guildatl’s #CommunityWealthBuilding Accelerator was special. For the last 6 weeks, the cohort has been focused on building their financial projections, learning franchising models and getting ready to take on investors and real estate. Today’s session focused on creating community impact was very different. There were tears, laughs, and lots of love, as everyone shared their personal stories and struggles vulnerably. For Black and Brown entrepreneurs who’re dealing with systemic oppression and trying to build not just generational wealth but community wealth, holding space for this kind of storytelling and sharing was important to me. So grateful to @drkeyhallmon for bringing my vision to life so beautifully and to @theblackmeccaproject for creating a liberatory space to allow this kind of work to flourish.
