Dealing w / Comparison & Jealousy & 5 Coping Skills
Y’all I- so I decided for the new year to post a comparison of my art from two years ago to now and holy moly! I had no idea how much I had improved. The left is from 2018 and i was 12, and the right is now (and unfinished haha)
I think my style and anatomy have really improved, of course through lots of practise and what not. There’s still lots to work on and this year I’m focusing on my anatomy (again) and colouring! I’m really quite happy with how much I’ve improved :) hehe
A avatar I made of myself on Picrew vs. an actual recent photo of me.
I really do need to redye my hair
Walt Disney World compared to New York City.
Here's what I compared last night, I always tell people go with the iwata hpcs eclipse, this is a test from my live feed last night. Eclipse lines on the left, and micron cmc plus lines on the right. The iwata hpcs can pull off those micron details, I've always said that. Save a couple hundred and go with the eclipse ;) #airbrushlife #airbrushlines #airbrushtests #iwatahpcs #iwatacmcplus #details #workhorse #comparion #looselines #tightlines #airbrush @iwata_airbrush
the FINAL DAY of the improvement hell “Draw something from a year ago!” Back at the end of 2014/start of 2015, I drew the second picture. It was sort of an exercise in getting acquainted with drawing on a Cintiq, and a redraw of the third picture, which was done at the end of 2013. The first picture is the new one a year later. The design, anatomy, and rendering all really improved even within just the past year. I’m really proud of the redraw, and it’s encouraging for my work, going forward. i’ll do that expressions piece soon, i promise just not yet
