INUAg Innovators in Urban Agriculture Prize - Nominations Open!
The International Network for Urban Agriculture (INUAg), www.inuag.org, is announcing the first annual global INUAg Innovators in Urban Agriculture Prize. INUAg is looking to recognize innovative urban agricultural projects contributing to their local communities in 3 different categories.
INUAg is accepting nominations through August 28, 2015. Nominees can self-nominate or be nominated by others. Nominations and questions should be sent to [email protected]. Winners will be announced September 29, 2015.
Award Categories: (Each award will have 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners, $1250, $500, $250)
1. Food Access- Projects improving food access in a local community with urban agriculture.
2. Educating Producers- Projects with focus on educating community members in innovative ways to sustainably grow food in an urban environment.
3. Teaching Youth- Schools or youth focused programs working with children to teach them urban farming.

Which award category are you submitting for?
Briefly describe the project and community it supports. 250 words maximum.
What is innovative about how the project meets the category? 250 words maximum.

Competition update;
So I'm not doing my Grand Cru intro start at the beginning of May now (asdfghjklfukfukfukky) but, I will be going....to Naracoorte (6 hours away)...to compete at the Naracoorte Horse Trials...WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YEAH, SO EXCITED OMG. On the 18th and 19th of May, pretty close really! Eeeeeep.
My lead up event to that will be a little pony club one, Williamstown ODE, on the 11th and 12th.
BUT OMG GUYS THIS IS SO EXCITING.
