Competitive Overwatch Rant

So I was grouped with two guys today on Overwatch, one of which I had recently friended on there so I figured everything would be cool bc the guy seemed alright the first time we played. We get into a comp, and my two guys are wearing into the other three players on our team, cutting them down and calling them shit and everything, and at the end, I’m having to do damage control and apologize for these two idiots. Like, “I am so so so so sorry. We all did our best, and nothing can be done to change that. We tried, we really did, and I’m proud of your efforts. I’m sorry we’ve been rude to you guys. We were wrong.” And I mean, I’m not blameless, I groaned at one point in frustration while trying to explain something to one of them, but overall, I was trying my best to calmly help them sort out their mic problems while admonishing my group for being turds.

Like, excuse you, but I didn’t sign up for your crap. They haven’t ranked yet; they have way lower prestige, they’re not going to be where we’re at. They’ve never done comp before, and this was their first comp game. Cut them some slack. If they don’t know something, it’s our job to teach them, not cut them down. Why the devil would they want to play the game again with turds like you talking to them that way? It’d discourage me. And I couldn’t get a word in over my two guys blessing them out to be able to calmly explain how to fix the problem.

I’m not playing with them on my team again because I don’t want that negativity. That doesn’t make the game fun for anyone. We’ve already got six enemies; we don’t need two more. The infighting is bullcrap. I save clips of my games periodically, so I’m going to message them later on after I get their names with an apology that’s not being drowned out by my group idiots. These guys played their hearts out, and they didn’t deserve that bs.

tl;dr: Some players are assholes, and I can’t believe someone I recently decided to start grouping with is like this. Screw that nonsense. Never again. If you can’t act like a team, then get off. You become the problem, not those that are new to something and struggling.

Im sharing this video of mine from what happen last night on comp LucioBall. I hate these kinda of people who cant handle a fight...they are cowards and if they can hold a lose they better uninstall the game and go play"babies" game....dont come to a game and see defeat and be like "nah fuck this shit, we're fucking losing like this I dont wanna deal with this"and you have to deal with a thing called REPORT. Be a strong player and stop be a whiny little shit because you're losing.

The first time this has happened for me, sure, I didn't heal him, jokingly at first but he instantly started cursing at me like that.. Getting almost 13k in healing solo in comp and getting POTM made him more salty and saying I didn't do my job.

Turning Bright Red From An Ego Boost

Guess who got 7 ults with Zayra in one Competitive game? This chick. I was blushing so much as my team praised me throughout the game after midway in offense in King's Row when I fired what I believe to be my second or third ult and they realized that I ulted again. She has the longest ult in the game and I was able to capture all the enemies to take them down each time when we got stuck. When the enemy nearly got to the end on the map when we are defense, I ulted and won us the game. The praising got louder on their mics. I got 3 golds in the end (Kills, Objective Kills and Objection Time) and got a card for my eliminations. My brown skin turned bright red from the cheering coming from my earphones. I think I should play Zayra more now because of this. *I think the Reinhart hated me because the only time I died was when he used his ult and when he charged. He would use them only at me and nobody else.
