"It's roast beef, try some!"
One year ago today I created this miniature Jurassic Park - The Lost World photo. All shot using real lighting, figures and miniature sets.
Honestly I don't mind the giant cicada plotline as a metaphor for the way big companies like Monsanto use IP laws to control seeds and crops. But I think the more obvious set up given the end of Fallen Kingdom was using the dinosaurs out in the wild as an example of Invasive species and the different arguments and ethics on how to handle Invasive Species. And given that they are man made species it's an easy jump to how a lot of invasive species are brought to Eco-systems because of humans. And like them being invasive species that are dangerous doesn't mean you can't portray them as sympathetic either, after all people love domesticated cats but in a lot of places you can find them they are technically invasive species that can wreck harm to local ecosystems and species.
And that's why Jurassic World: Dominion should have had an ad campaign about how important it to make sure your Compy is an indoor Compy and to make sure you give it plenty of recreational activities so that it doesn't get restless.

Thank you so much for the commission @impishlydistant !

Dinovember day 7: Compsognathus
Compsognathus was the first theropod dinosaur known from a reasonably complete fossil skeleton, and until the 1990s was the smallest known non-avian dinosaur.

May I offer your a compy in these trying times?
Pick your battles, Compies
I’m re-watching Camp Cretaceous right now and I’d just like to remind you all that a neat freak little boy with 99 problems was able to fend off a bunch of compies when a big, full grown mercenary literally got his ass whopped by ‘em
