Tonari No Atashi
First time doing this about completed manga, yai! I have to say that this manga awakened in me such different feelings that I even ended up crying when reading the last chapter. And for once, a middle school love story! I really have read too many high school romances… My first impression, when starting this manga was “Great, this is going to be just another, I’m in love with my childhood friend but he doesn’t feel the same about me… and yeah, he’s going out with some girl…” Honestly, I thought that this was going to be yet another one of those where childhood friends struggle through love, but end up together in the end. That’s why I was quite surprised, when the out come was different from the typical shoujo. To tell the truth, I spoiled myself by reading the last chapter and was quite surprised when Nina didn’t end up with Kyousuke but with someone called Miyake. (WHO IS THAT?) To know what had happened for them to get into this situation I had no other choice, but to start reading it. And it was so good that I ended up completing it in one day XD. I’m glad that I started to read this, since it was so different from those typical “OMG I FELL IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT AND BTW HE LIKES ME TOO…” type of stories XD Something realistic for once in a while. I feel bad for Kyousuke, but he did the right choice. And I’m sure that Miyake is going to make Nina happy.
