Hi guys, I’m back, and I just realised that I’ve yet to post anything controversial on this sideblog. A travesty. Therefore, I’m amending this by delving into some character opinions, where I may or may not roast your favs. Sorry. It’s just so y’all know where I stand.

(side note - this is not (very) serious. please don’t murder me in the notes, thanks!)

# 1 ) shiggy- I was pretty neutral about shig in the start - I found him to be the stereotypical kinda villain you always get. Then OFA was introduced and we got his backstory and the mess that is the manga happened and…he grew on me I guess? I’m not sure what I want to happen. But I’m slightly invested in his gamer career and disturbing murderous habits. Go shig.

#2) toga - I find toga to be a !! fun !! character, who has a deeper aspect to her personality and brings up good questions about the nature of hero society. I’ve never liked the yandere trope in anime, and I don’t like it with her, but I am willing to overlook. I wanna see how the recent events of the manga will influence her. She’s still young, she’s got time to grow!!

#3) Dabi - don’t like him. He has some nice fan-art though and dabihawks is…interesting? It’s definitely something.

#5) Compress - Hi, I’m here to collect my ‘I liked him before we knew he was hOT card’. I am just grateful that he gave us the utterly delicious angst of the bakugou kidnapping arc. The fanfic writers (me) salute you. He’s also so very extra and I love that for him. And he’s hot. Sorry, had to say it.

#6) Kurogiri- this is unreleated but does kurogiri remind any of yall of obito? For those of you that are fortunate enough to have not seen naruto, obito was this bubbly kid who was crushed by a bunch of rocks, gaslighted by a hot evil grandpa and turned into (1) of the main villains of the story. I think it’s pretty similar to kuro’s life, minus the hot grandpa bit. (think about it though, like aizawa = kakashi, mic = gai , obito = kuro, rin = midnight). Anyways I like kurogiri. He’s nice and brings aizawa angst. He deserves a higher paycheck for the shit he has to deal with though.

#7) SPINNER. MY BELOVED. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE STUDIO BONES FOR HOW DIRTY THEY DID YOU IN THE META-LIBERATION ARMY ARC. He is the gamer bf and he deserves lots of good things. Also gets the prize for the world’s dumbest fucking weapon <3.

#8) Magne. I liked the trans representation but I didn’t like how she was the first “major” member of the LOV to be killed off. We didn’t know much about her expect that she was trans. Get it together hori.

#9) Mustard - wasn’t he like a school kid? I’m not sure what his whole motivation was but he was the first guy to pull a gun and it takes balls to a pull a gun in a superhero shonen manga, because it goes against all the shoneny rules, so congrats my dude. Have fun in juvie or wherever they send murderous school kids. (probably tartarus, this is the hero commission we’re on about)

#10) Moonfish - I’m not gonna lie to yall the only reason moonfish is here is because I pulled up a list of all the LOV members in order to make this list and this guy was on it. I think he’s the blade dude from the bakugou kidnapping arc? He kinda creeped me out, but I guess that’s the goal of being a villain?

#11) Muscular - LMBKBGJ the only reason I care about muscular was because hori rlly brought him back for (1) manga chapter so he could get his ass properly beat (again) by deku and that is so hysterical to me. Kota sends his regards <3

#12) AFO - *throws a piece of popcorn every time he appears on screen* pay your fucking child support dick. Izuku needs therapy.
