Academic update: I finally received an interview for a FAANG+ company at a point in my academic career where I feel that I could possibly pass, so it's time to get on with the coding prep again. hi, I am a first generation international student studying Computer Science in the US. I originally created this blog to keep me accountable for habits I am trying to develop and record my journey as I go.

Currently, I am a senior and SUPER busy with my classes. So, I might not be super active but you'll occasionally see posts/reblogs. Trust me, I am trying to keep up ;)

I am tyring to rekindle with reading more often. You can see my current read on bio if you are ever interested to see what I am reading. I am very open to talking about the book I'm reading or any questions you want to ask me. I also love writing. I write poems, and I am looking into exploring Nonfiction/narrative writing in the future when I get more time. I have written a few poems of my own and I'd love to write a book (hopefully) someday.

I am still trying to navigate my interests within Computer Science/programming better. Meanwhile, Some of my favorite languages are Java, python. Tumblr blogging and its pretty aesthetic themes are what originally inspired me to write programs and pursue Computer science in college. i don't think i'm objectum i think this is a glitchkin thing but smth about computer programming feels so intimate???? like i can make this thing do basically whatever i want and it'll let me??? and when i fuck up i have to fix it by caressing it via scrolling through paragraphs of code and screaming "TELL ME WHAT HURTS" until i find the one typo i made that broke the whole damn thing and when i finally figure it out it's like. a rush idk. it makes me have breakdowns a lot.

Today, I need to do some work for our project in university.

The task: create a pc game for blackjack and I am creating the GUI for that, which sounds easier than it actually is.

The first working prototype has to be done next week and I still struggle to create the player lobby and the game room itself.

And because this isn't enough of stress, my brain is simply tired right now and I would rather sleep another two hours than sit in a dark room (the weather is shitty right now, no sun, only rain and dark clouds) and stare at a screen.

My boyfriend is also part of the team and he is currently sitting at the unit tests for the API and the game logic. Normally, we wanted to do something together over the weekend, but right now, I don't know if we are able to finish work until today evening...

Fingers crossed!
