Busy, busy
Returned a foster dog to the Humane Society the other day. N was a young, huge, rambunctious dog who had too much energy for me and my family. If he wasn’t pestering our cat (who for two weeks didn’t have privacy to pee) he was stealing food off of the stove. The last straw was when he was rough housing with our lab mix Charlie and took a chunk out of Charlies’ ear. Every time Charlie shook his head, blood flew everywhere. I washed blood from walls, floors and baseboards. My husband was home; after he took care of Charlies’ ear, he shampooed the carpet. When I took N back, I nearly cried with relief. Someone will adopt him, but not me. That boy needs a pasture.
Am taking Intro to Excel; hoping to get a job where it’s not retail. Tired of being on my feet and working every single weekend. My husband is only home on the weekends and I miss him. Anyway, class was tonight and I showed up twenty minutes late; got the times mixed up. The last night of the class is next Wednesday and I want to (have confidence in myself) sign up for the advanced class, which starts in two weeks. I’ll call the center tomorrow and (have confidence in myself) see if the class has filled up yet.
I found out a local haunted house was looking for volunteers. Since I’m a theater person at heart, I sent off for information. Lo and behold! I received information tonight about orientation, dates, etc.. If it works out I’ll be haunting every Saturday in October! I just have to ask work to not schedule me closing one night, opening the next day and working the haunted house in the evening.
I really just want to talk to a stranger about my problems, message me if you want to listen to me complain and be sad
