Use of ICT Today, Tomorrow and as a Social Movement
“How you use ICT today and how will you use it tomorrow?”
I use ICT today to help me get done with my school works. As a student, some requirements are to be submitted online or needs to be done with the help of softwares and internet. Also, it serves as a medium for communication. It can be used for giving announcements and warnings similar to the incident in Taal Batangas. It helped to spread awareness especially to people who are most likely to be affected. In addition, I use I to communicate with my teachers regarding school-related concerns and with my classmates. I believe that this purpose of using ICT will live on and will be much more important for the following days to come.
“How you used ICTs to be part of a social movement, change or illustrate aspects of digital citizenship?”
ICT played a major role in my school life. It helped me and my classmates to be more exposed and aware to the use of technology. Teachers use this to give lessons, assessments and school tasks. Also, with the help of ICT, I was part of raising awareness to issues such as mental health awareness and promoting self-love. I was able to do this through sharing posts and at the same time give an opinion about it. ICT made communication a lot easier and accessible especially when you are a student.
