I'm feeling some type of way about robots who are too damn jaded to care about whether or not their human-like mannerisms actually matter; too damn jaded to clean out their learning/mirroring algorithm, so they just starting mirroring people's bad habits because they think it makes them blend in.

Give me robots who smoke and drink for the love of the game

Robots who aren't afraid to bend their vocal algorithm unnaturally to express themselves in ways humans cannot

Robots who whine and bitch and groan and cuss

Robots who "whistle" and sing absentmindedly

Robots who are angry that nobody hears their logic that makes perfect sense and could fix everything but humans have to take the flawed route every time

Robots who chill out in extremely dangerous spots because they know their internal gyroscope won't let them fall; it's too precise

Robots who drug deal because logically it makes them the most money

Robots who stop giving a shit about the law because they were wronged too many times by it

Robots who hate their own manufacturers and try to exploit their subscription models for extra parts

Robots with internal internet connections who are scarily good at pirating media for their friends

working on devices i want to fix up puts an oddly motherly instinct in me. I find myself gently working away, reassuring "It's ok sweetie, we'll fix you right up. I just need to take a look inside is all~" As I gently pull the panel off I softly place it out of the way as I gently trace along some of the connectors with my hands, screwdriver held in my mouth and hair put up with my glasses on. "That's it sweetie, your doing good~"

I found myself cooing to her "Let me just get you put back together now, darling and we will see if that helps~"

tumblr is great because when i go to youtube and search "paul mcgann eating a rat" i get no results pertaining to paul mcgann but when i perform the same search on tumblr immediately get the clip i was looking for without even having to scroll down
