As one of her fingers moved the straw that was stuck inside of her smoothie, Sahar kept her hand pressed against her cheek as she looked across the table at Leah in an attempt to catch up now that the school year was over and Sahar had room to breathe. “All I’m sayin’ is that it wouldn’t be so bad if ya let me teach ya a few hula dances! The stories behind them are so beautiful.
