Mental health has become a significant concern among students. It affects their performance, relationships, and overall well-being. Many learners experience mental health struggles for different reasons. Recognizing the need to raise awareness, our group developed the “Be a Little Kinder Campaign.”
Our mission is to promote mental health awareness and encourage students to practice small acts of kindness intentionally and consistently. Our vision is to help create a school environment where kindness becomes a natural habit and where every student feels safe, valued, and supported. Our group believes that mental health is just as important as academic success. Through this concept paper, we aim to present the importance of our advocacy and explain how this campaign can create a positive impact on the school community. We hope to show how simple acts of kindness can contribute to a healthier and more compassionate environment.
II. Purpose
The purpose of our campaign is to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and to show how acts of kindness can greatly improve someone’s well-being. Many students experience academic pressure, personal problems, and emotional stress. School can feel overwhelming, especially when responsibilities and personal challenges pile up. There are also situations involving bullying, misunderstandings, and feelings of isolation. Despite these struggles, not everyone feels comfortable sharing what they are going through. Some students even begin to lose the motivation to attend school.
This project is worth supporting because it encourages positive behavior and strengthens relationships within the school. The campaign reminds students that everyone is dealing with their own problems, and kindness can help create a more understanding and supportive environment. It also teaches that kindness does not require big or complicated actions. Even small efforts can create positive change. When students treat one another with kindness, it helps reduce bullying and loneliness. It encourages empathy, which allows students to connect, support each other, and grow together. This leads to stronger friendships, better teamwork inside the classroom, and a more positive school atmosphere overall.
In conclusion, our goal is to show students that mental health matters and that they have the ability to make a positive difference in someone’s life.
III. Description
The “Be a Little Kinder Campaign” will include the following activities:
1. School Event: This will include interactive activities such as a "Kindness Booth" where students can offer or receive free hugs and compliments, and everyone will receive a flower or a sticky note with a motivating quote. There will also be a "Wall of Positivity" for writing supportive messages.
2. Journaling Program: Participants will receive free journals to record their daily acts of kindness and reflect on how these actions affect their mood or the well-being of others. Group facilitators will organize an optional sharing session to discuss journal entries, fostering self-awareness, and highlighting journaling as a valuable coping tool for mental health challenges.
3. Motivational Posters and Signages: We will create posters with positive messages about self-love, mental health, and kindness. These will be placed around hallways, classrooms, and bulletin boards to inspire students every day.
4. Mental Health Seminar: Our group will organize a short seminar that discusses basic mental health concepts, coping strategies, and the importance of seeking help when needed. The seminar will be delivered by a teacher, guidance counselor, or a trained student speaker. This activity aims to educate students and help them become more aware of their own well-being.

Grade 11 Students level of Satisfaction on the Prices and Products of the Canteen of Colegio De San Jose
I. Introduction
In recent years, there has been growing concern among students at Colegio de San Jose regarding the relationship between the prices of food products and the satisfaction they derive from these offerings in the school canteen. A major concern brought up by most of student’ some teacher’s is the apparent discrepancy in prices and portion sizes, which makes them dissatisfied with their overall experience. The impact of this mismatch on students' opinions of the canteen services' worth and level of satisfaction is demonstrated in this concept paper.
II. Statement of the Problem
This study aims to identify the underlying factors that contribute to students' dissatisfaction by focusing on customer satisfaction. It aims to offer perceptions into how adjustments to costs and serving sizes can enhance the overall canteen dining experience for students. This study will be crucial for understanding student preferences and for providing direction for future canteen service improvements.
Research Questions
How do students’ expectations of food quality and pricing align with the actual offerings in the canteen?
To what extent does the disproportion between food portions and prices affect students' overall satisfaction with the canteen services?
How do the prices of food products in the Colegio de San Jose canteen influence student satisfaction?
III. Literature Review
According to the study by Galabo (2019), student satisfaction with canteen services is strongly linked to the affordability and quality of products. The research highlights that a well-priced product offering, especially in school canteens, can significantly improve customer satisfaction. This is further supported by the findings on the importance of service quality in canteens, which is crucial in determining overall satisfaction levels.
Similarly, research conducted by Sagarino et al. (2024) at the University of the Immaculate Conception found that while students generally express satisfaction with their canteen's services, certain aspects such as food variety, prices, and the attentiveness of the staff require
improvement. The study shows that these factors play a vital role in how students perceive the value of canteen services, affecting their overall satisfaction.
The study of Labay et al. (2015) similarly concluded that while students were satisfied with various aspects of canteen services, such as cleanliness and customer service, their satisfaction with the pricing of products and the portion sizes was considerably lower. This finding points to the need for canteens to better align their pricing strategies with student expectations.
Additionally, Hom et al. (2017) emphasized that satisfaction is not only a result of quality service but also of emotional responses to the fulfillment of needs. In the context of canteens, this means that if students feel that their needs for affordable, high-quality food are unmet, their overall satisfaction declines, regardless of other service factors.
Lastly, the study by Elliott and Shin (2002) also noted that student satisfaction is a product of the alignment between expectations and perceived outcomes. This means that when students expect affordable prices and are met with higher costs, dissatisfaction can arise, even if other aspects of the service meet expectations.
IV. Research Design and Methods
This study examines the relationship between food portions, canteen prices, and student satisfaction at Colegio de San Jose using a quantitative, correlational research design. To ensure diverse representation, a survey will be given to 10 students in various sections who make up a stratified random sample. Using a Likert based questions, the structured questionnaire will collect information on customer satisfaction, demographics, and opinions of the price-product balance. In order to ascertain the degree to which prices, portions, and satisfaction are related to one another, data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation. This analysis will provide valuable information for prospective canteen service improvements.

Globalization has become a familiar enough word, the meaning of which has been discussed by others before me during this conference. Let me nonetheless outline briefly what I understand by the term. I shall then go on to consider what has caused it. The bulk of my paper is devoted to discussing what we know, and what we do not know, about its consequences. I will conclude by considering what policy reactions seem to be called for.
PURPOSE "
The purpose of globalization, it provides wide range of markets to large corporations. It also provides them with a source of cheap labor, from a purely economics point of view, it is the most efficient form of allocation: each country can “specialize” in what they do best. In theory, overall the most efficient prices should result all nice economic theory. Let’s look at it from the perspective of a 1st world economy.
Individuals and small businesses may benefit from lower prices on foreign produced goods. The “Walmart” phenomenon is an example. Cheap foreign goods help raise individuals’ standard of living. But this is a double edged sword. It is mostly benefits the big boys. Small businesses may have a hard time playing on such a large field. Fifty years ago it would simply not have been possible for a computer running anywhere with software written wherever to broker a contract between a person wanting to go from Oxford to London an a Uber driver. Or to order a component you need next month for your production line in Malaysia. Or to have a program prepare your tax declaration or find the next affordable flight to New York and a hotel. There were enormous differences between the difficulties to integrate work, services, physical parts into value production and distribution networks depending on the location of a provider. This corresponded to equally significant differences in the opportunity to produce and sell high-value products, whether physical or intangible.
DESCRIPTION
Globalization, or globalisation (Commonwealth English; see spelling differences), is the process of interaction and integration among people, companies, and governments worldwide. Globalization has accelerated since the 18th century due to advances in transportation and communication technology. This increase in global interactions has caused a growth in international trade and the exchange of ideas and culture. Globalization is primarily an economic process of interaction and integration that is associated with social and cultural aspects. However, conflicts and diplomacy are also large parts of the history of globalization, and of modern globalization.
SUPPORT
Globalization is an established part of the modern world, so most of us do not realize the benefits it brings to our everyday lives—such as easy access to a variety of different cuisines or new technologies developed by countries half a world away.
Even though globalization makes our lives better, it does bring some challenges as companies start to grow and expand across borders. Cultural differences around the world are undeniable. These differences create hurdles for businesses entering foreign markets and necessitate changes to their daily business operations, whether it’s employing workers in a new region or communicating the value of their product to a new audience
