One should distinguish well: whoever still wants to gain the consciousness of power will use means...He, however, who has it, has become very choosy and noble in his taste.
Friedrich Nietzsche, The Dawn Of The Day.
Most of the time nowadays, it's tears, tears, tears. Tears welling up inside of me. I feel the bleeding going on inside - every day I die more consciously. The staring, the stopping in the street, the nudging of people when they recognise me - my fear of them - my hate of them, my desire to get away from their PRYING EYES ... and always this longing for a quiet death. What is the point of pretending? All this stuff about 'You've done something good with your life!' that I get from my friends - what good is it, if it's not good for me? It's the utter loneliness of the existence.
The Kenneth Williams Diaries, April 1971
I perfectly understand Kenneth Williams' painful feelings ... I've been working in business aviation/VIP handling at the airport in Berlin for almost 20 years now. During that long period, I took care of so many celebrities after arrival or prior departure, making their short passage as comfortable and smooth as possible. People are often so irreverent and disgraceful, it's incredible what I've had to witness already, including some incidents with both fans and the press I even had to step in vigorously! I'm convinced that many of those people do it without any ill intent but with an immense lack of thought. All celebrities are well aware that they have to live with a certain degree of public interest, they eventually earn their money because of the love and affection of their fans. But it's also exactly this public that goes over a limit far too often! Just try to live within their skins for a short moment, think of how you would like to be treated by others if you were in their position which is not at all glamorous and easy all the time. Always keep in mind that you're neither familiar or friend with them nor do you know them at all just because of their famous names, faces and a few facts about their private life! In the first place, celebrities are human beings with the same emotions, pains, bad moods and feelings as you and me have from time to time. Please always respect their privacy & personal rights, don't make candids secretly but ask them respectfully for their permission of taking a photo and never address them by their first or nick names ... in my experience, they'll love you back for your exercise of polite restraint, if you are lucky to meet one of them by chance one day, away from the spotlight!!! Respect is all that matters ... always! ♡
Observe wisely.
Sending a smile from a land of a thousand smiles 😁🤓😬😀 In today’s post I want to share the importance of concentration ☝🏼Thanks to Artur @artursita I’ve learned and experienced that concentration is a door to meditation💡 • What is meditation? To me its a way to experience life as a pure awareness. I think it’s the best kind of life 😊 • It is possible to remain thoughtless as a pure awareness and I’m learning this skill everyday together with Artur and everyone 🧘🏽🧘🏼♀️ Check out Artur’s posts on how to learn to concentrate 🎯 • • #meditation #concentration #retreatsamuiartursita #awareness #concsiousness (at KOH SAMUI) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-lYXTEFtBY/?igshid=1ug0dfujy93q9
