Another low fire soda fired yunomi. This one is a great example of why I sometimes need to give my work time to grow on me. All of these textured cups with terra sig came out leaving me underwhelmed. I was taking a technique I found mostly successful at cone ten and struggling to see it as being effective at cone 3. I have started to really enjoy some of the subtleties in the flashing the sig provides as I’ve let it sit in my studio and I have taken the time to study it more. Still not there but definitely not something I’m leaving behind. . .
